Got the ranchera super torta that was exactly as described a SUPER torta. It was huge I ate half of it and the rest the next day. You can share it. The ranchera has a little bit of everything asada, Al pastor and chorizo. The service was good. All the staff was super friendly and quick to take our order. We needed more time but they still checked on us multiple times. When we were finally ready Janet answered all our questions. The red salsa was really good if you like spicy. Green didn’t really have much flavor or heat but it was okay. The pico de gallo or salsa not sure was good too. We got 2 rounds of chips. The agua de jamaica was not that sweet which was perfect. They asked us if we wanted ice or not which not a lot of places ask they just assume. Overall, our experience was great. Service was good. Atmosphere was cute - they have it decorated nice and the front window is open. They also have outside seats. They seemed really busy. Parking is street parking pay to park. Definitely give it a try. We went because passing by it smelled good.

This was my first time trying this place and overall it's quite good. My only criticisms are based on personal preferences. I got the carne asada burrito and it was a good portion of food, but it was a bit "flat" instead of the packed to bursting style I'm used to. As you can see from the photos, there is plenty of meat but the other ingredients barely make themselves known. The red sauce has heat that builds over time, so if you are sensitive to spice it's best to use it sparingly. The yellow/green sauce adds some flavor, but I can't put my finger on what that flavor is supposed to be. All-in-all it was worth trying, but it'll be a while before I go here again. On another note, I know someone that absolutely loves their veggie burritos and gets them quite often (she also suggests mixing the sauces to bring the heat of the red under control).

We've always gone to this delicious place from when it was even closer to our house back on Lawrence Ave, the Kedzie location is even bigger and spacier. Now that we can no longer dine in, we opt for carry out or delivery either way works bc food still arrives nice and hot. Their carne asada tacos are a real hit and the meat is cut very finely just how we like it, which also makes for their amazing sopes, one is enough to fill me up. I recently discovered their amazing Cecina steak my goodness is it mouth watering tasty! I included pics from when dine in was allowed to now for delivery. Service has always been great and they are Covid cautious with all tables blocked off and sanitizers available when u walk in as well as plexiglass between you and their table for pick up orders. Highly recommended!

Went their with my girlfriend and food was served very unprofessionally waiter Rosy took our order and then when the food came out only 1 dish came out we waited for the second dish which never came out which we thought maybe it’s taking a bit but it didn’t come out for over 15 minutes after the first plate came out then when my girlfriend did not want to eat there anymore because of the wait .To explain in better detail I ordered my burrito and got it while she sat there for 15 minutes with no food watching me eat we timed it when the food didn’t come out after 5 minutes set a 10 minute timer I basically finished my food while hers never came out .When I told the server to cancel the plate and just charge me for what came out is when they told me the food was coming out the cooks were just laughing and making jokes the server did not bring me my box or check until I called her over again then was trying to convince me to take it to go while my girl was not hungry anymore no one wants to go to a establishment on a date and have just one plate come out when two are ordered and have their date just eat while they wait and nothing arrives to finish it off one of bussers comes and waves the box in front of her face instead of apologizing for the wait to end it the server never comes back to apologize and sends another server with my change to apologize we still paid for what we got to the table but left very upset it wasn’t even busy for that to have happened there were only 4-5 tables and 2 servers on the floor with a busser if they can’t handle that they shouldn’t be in business I’m lucky she’s already my girlfriend if this was a first date there would not be anymore dates after this...

Finally, decided to visit this place after always seeing the big crowds of people every weekend. I figured it must be good. I was disappointed. Before I get to the negative, I would like to say the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Now, the food was not great at all. The quality of the food was not good. I ordered some cow tongue tacos, the meat was fine, but the cilantro and limes were dry, the tortillas were not all warm, the beans and rice looked/tasted as if they had been microwaved. Quantaties are big for the price you pay, but what's it worth when the quality sucks? Reminds me of Taco Amigo Chino. But one huge red flag for me that serves as an indicator for any establishment is its appearance from the outside. Those damn windows need to cleaned, seriously! They are so dirty and with few graffiti signs, which have been like that for a long time. If they don't care about their outside appearance, to me at least it says a lot about them as...
