This shop is close to me and it's rated incredibly well. However, I failed to see how it earned this rating. Firstly, the interior is tiny - much smaller than the photos would have you believe. There are only six tables. I choose the only available table when I arrived which had Cheerios littered all over the floor under it.

I ordered macarons and coffee. The macarons are $4/each. They were middling for US macarons but still very expensive. The coffee came with this hard plastic lid. At first I was excited because I thought at least it is recyclable, but there is no recycling collection inside the shop.

The biggest problem I witnessed is customer service. I was onsite for just short of two hours. In that time, every single new customer who walked in off the street had to wait at the counter for service for 3 to 10 minutes. This isn't an exaggeration. There were two staff working but they would retreat to the back after every order. It was wild. It got to the point that myself and another patron would inform the long-waiting customer that they would have to call out in order to get service.

The macarons were served on this medium sized plastic tray. As I was leaving, I looked around for a tray return area. There is none. There was no one behind the counter to ask to take it so I awkwardly left it near the macarons display case.

To top it all off, there's no signage out on the shop exterior. I asked an associate to meet me there but it's basically invisible from a car because there's no sign on the...

How I miss Cafe Zozo. The location was perfect to make this my go-to spot, and I would go a lot (great place for me to focus and get work done). So when Motherland opened I wanted to give it a shot. The first time I went, I was excited to see breakfast options. I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel and it was amazing! The drink was ok, but if I need caffeine, there’s caffeine. The service was also nice.

The next time I went, I ordered the same exact thing and got a completely different sandwich (which as everyone else pointed out, nothing looks like their menu shows), and service was… ok.

I went one more time and tried it out again, same exact order, and got another completely different sandwich. All egg sandwiches, all completely different, and worse and worse each time. I stopped going there after that. It wasn’t worth it.

Today I needed some caffeine with only a few minutes in which to get it so I ordered online and walked over quickly (again, convenient location for me). When I got there the wrong drink had been made. There were a couple of exchanges back and forth about what I ordered and what they made, and in the end they looked at my order again and made the right drink. Which, as all previous times, was ok.

I love supporting small business and have frequented this location with the last two businesses there. I wish I could do the same now but I just never know what I’ll get and can’t trust the photos or descriptions...

me and my sisters went here for an event that was being hosted. they only had one man on staff. we were there for two hours waiting on our order, (there were a lot of orders) and at first we figured he's just one guy its okay, but after a while, after two hours of waiting? no. i went up to ask about our order and he tells me he GAVE it to someone else bc he called out our number and no one came to pick it up (this man was also talking shouting our orders in the quietest voice ever in a cafe with 20-25 people talking at the same time) he says this while giggling, may i add, and then he says that he can't make us our order because he ran out of the ingredients to make our boba? he offers to exchange or refund. we ask for a refund, which he does not do immediately (instead he goes back to making drinks). what annoyed me the most is the fact that we where there for two hours waiting for nothing. the one (ONE!! during an EVENT that they had to have known was going to happen!!!) man that they had working didn't do anything to try and mitigate the situation! he did not bother to tell anyone who was waiting that certain drinks and desserts were now unavailable! we were only waiting on ONE drink and a...

Cafe ZoZo is an aesthetically pleasing and modern cafe with a cozy, bright, and laid-back environment that gives off an enjoyable vibe to try their assortment of sweets and drinks. The owners behind the counter were very personable, friendly and helpful in describing and suggesting some items from their menu. The Osmanthus Oolong Bubble Milk Tea is a favorite and we especially liked the Tiramisu macarons. As we had such a great experience with Cafe ZoZo, we hired them to cater the dessert for our wedding. They were extremely communicative, organized, and efficient from the initial tasting, dessert setup, and to the last morsel being picked clean by our guests on wedding night. Our dessert table consisted of macarons, cupcakes, cream puffs, mousse cups, and bubble tea from Cafe ZoZo and was a hit with our guests. We were happy to point our guests to Cafe ZoZo for their future dessert cravings and they are worth a visit in Lincoln Square!

Super excited that this place is in my neighborhood! I've only had the vanilla iced latte so far but it was really good & I can't wait to try more! I was pumped it wasn't a super expensive buy either, sometimes with boutique coffee shops you're paying upwards of 5/6 bucks for an iced latte- here it was reasonably priced around 3/4. Such a large variety of drinks, and not just coffee either. I'm really interested in the Passion Fruit Iced Tea, Taro Milk Tea and the Affogatto. I also love how the ordering system is done through a kiosk, so there's not really any room for error unless you put your own order in wrong! There are people working right there behind the counter though that are very very friendly if you need them. Overall the coffee is good, people are nice & location is spotlessly clean. Will definitely be coming back!

Lovely, clean and relaxing cafe in the Lincoln Square area. No gimmick just great food and drinks. Ordered a slice of Oreo cheesecake but it got devoured by kids before I could snap a picture, oh well... Cake was so smooth that it is light which I don't feel getting too full or stuffed - I could definitely have another one. Drinks come in many varieties from iced tea/coffee to dairy blended drinks and affogatos. Yuzu matcha iced tea (customized with less sugar) was just the perfect drink for a hot summer day in August. Black sugar milk tea with boba tastes just right, not overly sugary per my wife. And there was definitely zero complaints from the kids with the blended drinks. Other notes: Free wifi, fair prices, soft music, lots of natural light coming in
