TIM TIM'S HALAL GRILL — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

When I say this was the best tasting food I’ve ever had in chicago. Boy. The Tim Tim signature burger is the definition of beauty and the beast. The Italian beef was moist and succulent as if the cow himself was named Alessandro from Milan. The polish hot dog made me say KURVA this is good! But the star were the steak tacos (don’t judge us we were hungry) anyways…. Oh lord. One bite in and I was transported to the bile of Michoacán sipping on some horchata con tacos de abuelita. chefs kiss only down side was the place was very small and wasn’t in the best of areas. But who cares?!?!?! I’m willing to get shanked by a random crackhead if it means I can get another taste of this delicious food. Omg. My favorite place in chicago bar none. 100/10. I even left a tip… “clean up a bit” lol jk. I left some money in the jar for the boys. They are working hard and deserve all the praise they get and more. Keep it up and viva la raza y viva la Tim...

Fantastic experience - I have been wanting to get a meal here for a couple years and finally made it. Walked in, it smelled incredible. On a Wednesday afternoon there were a few people inside and I got the sense there were some regulars. One guy having a taco plate gave us some advice on ordering. We ordered a few things to go and it was pretty quick to come out. Staff were super cool.

This was my first meal in the US after traveling abroad for over a year, and it delivered on every craving I had been unable to satiate during that time.

I loved the Italian beef - I asked it to be not dipped but wet and it was perfect, not too soggy. The roast beef was fantastic, i might just ask for extra giardinera next time. I also got a chili cheese dog which was delicious. My friends enjoyed the Tim Tim burger and the chicken tenders, and we all liked the cheese fries.

I will probably be back Friday after praying...

Today I had Tim Tim’s Halal Grill. A hole in the wall to say the least. While seating was limited and the kitchen is understaffed, the food more than makes up for it. I had the beef bacon cheeseburger. While the bacon was a bit chewy and mustard did not compliment the burger, overall it was flavorful and filling. We utilized all the sauces at the table which really elevated the flavor. 3.3/5. The Philly cheesesteak was a bit better and packed with flavor. Sweet, salty, cheesy..perfection. I can see it being a bit too sweet for some though. 3.8/5. The tacos el pastor we’re the star of the show. 3 juicy marinated beef tacos with beans and rice were filling, yet addicting. 4.3/5. As far as service, they did make a few mistakes in the order, but that was a given as the wait time can be upwards of an hour. Overall, a great place for halal Mexican food and will definitely go again…and...
