This was the first time in my entire life that food was delivered to the outside of my fence, on the public way.
I tried texting the delivery person but didn't get a response. I tried again and again didn't get a response.
Then I called the office. The first gentleman I talked to dropped the call. I called back and talked with Fernando.
I asked to have the delivery person come back to deliver the food to the front door. (Being handicapped is not fun and besides life being difficult, being put through other events that make no sense which I'll tell you about in a second, this didn't work out very well.)
As you might imagine, I had no way to get the package. The offer from customer service was to give me credit for 5.00 on the next order. That wasn't acceptable because the money spent on this order that I couldn't get to was more than $20.00.
Fortunately, as I was talking to this gentleman, there were some people passing by the gate where the food was left.
I called out to them and they stopped. I asked them to kindly bring the package to me. The lady did just that. I thanked her for her assistance.
Here's the real problem. Orders that get delivered incorrectly are no longer given any priority. Customer gets affected.
There are no backup plans to help the customer get out of the mess they didn't create. The customer loses again because although I didn't mention it, the food was cold. I paid for a hot meal not cold fries, hot chicken nuggets not cold ones and not the spicy ones that I got, and finally a cold hamburger.
The salad was about the only thing that was cool and should have been cold.
Now although it's rare that such things happen the customer should always remember to point things out so that they can weed out poor delivery people.
I demanded my tip to this driver be credited back...
Read moreThis Wendy's establishment is horrible! I do not even know where to begin. First time I visited I waited in drive thru line for over 25 minutes. While I waited I decided to do a mobile order hoping this would shorten my wait time. When I finally arrived to the window they were still trying to get my items together and the food was cold. The second, and this will be my last time, long drive thru lines (again) so I decided to go inside. Cashier was friendly but you can tell she was new, which is fine because at least she was trying(which is more than I can say for anyone else working there). I asked for a salad and was told they had no salads... Ok, I'll just take a chili and small Dr. Pepper. She rings me up and gives me a cup to fill my drink. Well, one of the two machines was totally down and the other had half its drinks out of stock. No lids, no forks or spoons. The dining area was a mess. I waited for 20 minutes (after I ordered) for the same lady who took my order to let me know they had no more chili. Not her fault.. She was actually the only one trying to bag orders after taking the orders, but no way to run a business. Horrible management. The other employees had no sense of urgency at all and were just standing around. At one point they wouldn't take anyone's orders that walked into the dinning area and told them they had to order using a kiosk.. Well, the kiosks were not working. I asked for a refund and so did two other patrons waiting behind me. This place is a joke. Please save your time and energy and visit another location or...
Read moreOrdered pickup for 4:20pm. Ordered 10 mins before to give them time. I get there on 4:20pm on the dot, and i go inside, first thing i notice is the inside area is filthy, specifically the floors and tables and glass windows. I go to the pickup area, and my order isn’t ready. Fine. I wait. 10 minutes waiting, the cashier asks for my name and another women infront of me who is also waiting for her mobile order. I give it to her, and she tells her coworker “can we get (my name) and (the lady in front of me’s name) mobile order started?” Meaning our orders weren’t even started? Fine whatever. ANOTHER 10 minutes and we still don’t get our order. Not til 25 mins since I’ve entered the building do i finally get my order. The coworker throws my order on the drop off area and walks away. Cool. Rude. I get home in 7 minutes, fries are lukewarm and my dave’s double cheese is missing cheese. Great. Don’t get me wrong, i LOVE Wendy’s, but this location sucks. Most of the management from what i can see were run by teens. Too many kids who don’t care or don’t have the necessary skills. Staff NEEDS to be trained better. I get retail work, I’ve worked retail most of my life, but this place needs to step it up. Incompetence. My roommate also experienced another review on here where they closed the in store doors at 9am when he tried to go pick up his mobile order. Do not reccommend this location. Go to the McDonalds across the street for...
