Wendy's — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

This Wendys is disgusting as it comes. The floors and table are always sticky and covered in grime and left over food bits from people. You can definitely tell the employees don't clean the lobby throughout the day. The food is hardly ever hot and in most cases it's actually cold and just not as good as it should be. I even saw one employee stop half way through making someones food to pull out her phone, text on it for a good 30 seconds beofe going back to make the food without changing her gloves Disgusting as it comes. (it's been proven your phone has more germs than the toilet seat in a public restroom). I don't think I'll be giving this location another chance. The taste of the food and how nasty the place is is just not worth it.

UPDATED 3/5/24 I gave them another chance because thru the wendy's app they had a good deal going on. I was actually surprised to see that they place was clean and my food was fresh and tasty! This was right after/during the high school rush. I may give them another chance again and write a more detailed review. I have never written a review but my experience at this location was absolutely terrible and felt compelled to write this review.

Right as we walked in all of staff members were just sitting down, on even lying down on the benches on thier phone. We had to wait a whole minute for one of them to take our order.

Upon ordering the staff member seemed angry and gave us attitude, and if we were bothering.

After receiving our order and beginning to eat, my father realized that he was given the wrong order. He ordered a "S'awesome Double Bacon Classic", he received a single without bacon, the whole point he order the sandwich was to get a BACON classic, how is this acceptable?

Upon asking for a replacement we got the attuide as before and all they did was give us a cup with bacon. Unacceptable.

While we were eating they were also very noisy, it might seem that I am just being annoying and nitpicky but I have been to other Wendy locations in Chicago and in other cities and have been very pleased with the staff, food and environment.

I would give this zero stars if i could. This is absolutely unbelievable. I waited 20 minutes for my food a simple order of Baconator Fries. And I get PIECES OF SHREDDED CHEESE (not melted! and not a lot.) WITH FULL PIECES of bacon. This was a very disappointing experience considering the Wendys was practically empty. See my photo in the images section of this for proof… smh… EDIT: if i could write multiple bad reviews I would. This location has failed to upload my mobile order to the system multiple times. Usually I wait a few minutes to see and then bring it up, and when I do bring it up, my order is placed last behind like 30 people. I go to the school next to this place and it takes almost the whole lunch period to get my order (WHICH IS ALWAYS SIMPLE). Once with ONE crispy chicken and another with a small frosty. Sorry but you could just grab the cub and fill it instead of making me wait 30 minutes and waste me whole lunch, especially when I ordered before most of the people they put ahead of me.
