Everytime I visit this location their is an issue. The last few times their drive thru was either "broken" or they are short staffed and you have to go inside to order. I am a little surprised that the restaurant is short staffed considering it is located across from a high school. I feel like this location only hires friends/family or something. When inside they have line ups of people and can't get the order correct, a girl kept asking for her order numerous times while her friends already finished eating (she said she ordered chicken nuggets and the staff said "we don't have chicken nuggets" but literally on the board it says nuggets). The last visit i came inside. The chicken was overcooked very dark almost burned color. I still bought it because I waited so long, it tasted okay but not burned but almost there. The staff was always friendly. That's one thing i can say positive. Under pressure they were very positive. The inside due to being short staffed is almost always dirty. Garbage here and there from customers. The food is not always packaged correctly. They put an apple pie into a chicken sandwich wrapper, so I wasn't sure if I received the right thing. The person at the cash register is dealing with handling the order but also going to make the biscuits and pack peoples orders. The times the drive thru was open, they always seemed to have issues (pickup drivers standing right outside your car at the drivethru window waiting for orders, aruging with the staff). I've had missing food from my order numerous times in the drive-through when it was open and wouldn't notice until I got home. I understand being short staffed and I keep going back (because it's close to my house). But this has been happening over 3 or so years now and only ever at this location. They also don't always have everything on the menu. A lady asked for blueberry pies, which was on a photo on the small menu, and they didn't have it. They work hard, you can tell, so i blame this on management. If i can help it i will no longer visit this location, which is a shame as it's close to me. But I will go out of my way to the next closest location. Note: With a Dave's hot chicken that just opened up near this popeyes, popeyes is going to lose a lot of business if things aren't 100%. I don't normally write negative reviews but it's been really frustrating to have to spend half hour at a popeyes to order some food when it really shouldn't...
Read moreThis is a racist restaurant, run by all mexicans. I used to work there, I filled out an app to become a cook but by me being a black man that didn't happen. Then they made me a cashier. And said I have became so good that the R.G.M. said that she wanted to make me a shift supervisor, So now when she told her boss about her making me a manager, that got canceled as well. The reason for me quitting is that there is to much favoritism. One mexican girl name christin came in on a new hire, sad to say but she works so slow that you would think it was her first job ever. But by her being mexican she was pushed in front of me to become a manager, in as little as a week. and now she is a manager in this store.and still she Don't even know white from dark meat and don't even know the register yet. all of the mexicans in the store is related. Including the R.G.M. and the assistant manager. They are real life sisters. The assistant manager Elizabeth has a very mean attitude & is always treating the customers & team members very badly. Her & her sister were only paying me minimum wage. But had me slaving around, doing every position like I didn't know any better. They had me washing all the dishes, preping all the side dishes, running drive thru & the front counter, @ the same time. cleaning the lobby, cleaning the outside of the store. Taking out the garbage, even their cook garbage cause he is about 70 years old. Cleaning inside & outside the store. running back and forth to the currency exchange for change, which is the managers job. While the other three mexicans I worked with did only one position. And the managers sit in the office most of their stay doing nothing. they are very very lazy, they never wipe down walls they never clean out there walk in coolers, all the freezer doors and walls are nasty with thick dirt and greese, that looks like it all been there since the store was built. And they don not clean out there trash cans or their dumpster are. The dumpster area smells like a outside bathroom that you can...
Read more7/27/24 I placed an order online for pick up around 10:30am. My daughter walked over right before 11 and was told their cook isn't in and if she wanted to come back in an hour (they opened at 10). We asked to cancel and they said they would be unable to and that I would have to cancel on my end (there is no way to cancel online). It's been 2 days and no refund or resolution by Popeyes! If you don't have a cook, why even open up? If they're unable to service anyone, there should be a way to stop orders online for that location. Why aren't employees allowed to cancel orders for customers; and why aren't employees aware of this instead of misinforming customers?
8/1/24 Update: When I originally reached out to the company with my complaint, I was only offered $5 credit to my account for the inconvenience. WTH! I spent nearly $30 and neither the restaurant (using that word loosely) nor the company offered a refund; considering I never got my order. I had to demand a refund and threatened to dispute charges with my bank. I finally got confirmation that I'll be getting refunded...5 days later.... only after I demanded it. The rep that issued the refund also sent a link to review their service. Seriously?! I went to fill it out but funny enough it won't let you submit the review if you give anything less than 5 stars. Filled everything out, but the "Next" button would stay faded and only darkened if I hit 5 stars. Sounds like Popeyes' issues are rooted all the way from corporate and not just with individual location. No wonder you don't have employees showing up...
