Big Boy Gyros — Restaurant in Lake View Township

I went there 6 weeks ago and was impressed with there Tom Tom tamales.Didnt care for there Italian beef. So I decided to stop there today to pick up 4 tamales for myself and a hot dog for a friend.Owner told me to step to the side after paying,so I did .But it was taking along time for simple food to be prepared so I went up to the front and looked over the counter as he opened microwave up and took out 4 tamales that where frozen .I told him before opening them that I wanted Tom toms he continued to open them and said it's to late i made them for you.I told him I didn't like that brand and he started to play mind games with me.I told him 3 times not to bag them and asked for hot dog so I can leave. And I had no intention on asking for a refund nor did he have any In giving me back my 10 bucks.But when I went to grab my bag he still put the tamales in my bag and told me to take them when I had confronted him.If Iam not gonna eat it why take it?So I asked for a recite he refused it I then asked for my money seeing he insisted on packing tamales at first he said no and as people came in he gave me the $10 and told me to get the he'll out and don't cone back in his resturant. After getting low quality food and a bad additude I have no intentions...

I’ve been eating at Big Boy Gyros for lunch for about 5 years and pretty much ordered the same meal a majority of the time, but today my order was apparently too difficult for the cashier to comprehend. I ordered a Gyro Combo with a side salad instead of fries, I was told they never do that even though I got that exact order the previous week. She then “explained” to me in a LOUD tone that they would NEVER do that since fries are $2 and salad is $4. Trying to remain calm and just get my lunch I agreed to pay the additional $2, but when she rung me up the total was $4 more. She lost it when I asked why she charged me $4…I don’t have time to type all the insane things she yelled at me, but here’s a few: -NO restaurant ever substitutes, I (being the cashier) eat out all the time -You clearly just don’t want to pay My co-worker then said let’s just go somewhere else and as we were leaving I stated that I would let everyone at my company down the street know how I was just treated. At this point the owner got involved by just saying, “That’s not nice Lady” LOL Such a joke, what wasn’t nice is the way I was treated from the beginning. I was flabbergasted when I saw a rat running in the back room. How I saw the rat was, I was looking for a restroom while I wait for my food but what I saw that it was only a storage room of some sort with the door opened. I literally didn't know what to do because I didn't want to frighten the one customer. So, I kindly told the man (older stern looking man with accent-not the cook) that I had to leave on emergency and no longer could wait for the food. This rude man became irate and belligerent .....I couldn't believe how angry he was. He took money out of his tip jar and gave me my money back instead of putting it back on my card. My total was $9.04 and first he tried to give me $5, then he gave me the other $4 and not the change. When I left out, he took the drink that I was going to buy and started wiping it off while looking at me go to the car as if he were getting rid of my germs.
