Bloody chicken, when I tried to call, nobody answered the phone for 3 nights (when I'm off work and available to call pretty much anyone. After no answer the first night, I sent an email to the customer experience department from popeyes corporate website, but still haven't got a response. Finally I was near there on Sunday evening around 6:30, and just went through drive thru with complaint. Which took 21 minutes to reach the window, where the Rudest female manager was working there on Sunday night when I tried to have my order replaced, and I was told to go bring my receipt (I'm okay with that after 6 days). When I got back, and sat through drive thru for another 30 minutes, to reach the window, and was told at the speaker that they didn't want my order over it,wait until the window. Which seemed like it would add even more time because they wouldnt even begin my order until I was supposed to be leaving the drive thru. Once I got the window I was to produce the bad food, which I no longer have after 6 days. When I explained that nobody had answered the phone there for 3 nights, I was looked at as if that were my fault and I should slap myself for bringing up my mistakes. And when I asked why I wasn't told that I needed to bring the food back when I was told to go fetch the receipt (by the same person I was talking to then, she said "I specifically told you, you just didn't listen". I told her that wasnt correct, I'm not going to waste all of this time (I had now spent over an hour and twenty minutes, and driven about 18 miles total, over the course of 2 days of actively trying to get my damned chicken). She said I should have listened, or just brought it back the next day. When I had to go back out to find some alternative for dinner because it was bloody, I hadn't had any intentions of returning there for a while because I was angry over the poor quality of care when preparing my food (which could have caused Salmonella), and nobody bothering to answer the phones, when they already have a slightly lighter work load due to the dining room being closed WHICH IS THE PERSONAL CHOICE OF THAT PARTICULAR STORE. the one I usually go to twice a week just closes at 6 when all others close at 9, and their dining room is open. I said i just want what I paid for, from my favorite fast food restaurant anywhere, before I'll ever spend another dollar on my favorite chicken). The lady said I should have paid attention and I would have gotten it, but she can't just take my word that it was bloody, as if I am just a scammer who goes around hustling chicken shacks out of $20 worth of breasts and wings, building my criminal empire up one biscuit at a time. So I asked for a manager, she said I am the manager, I asked for the store manager, and when I could find them, she said hang on I'll get them, walked 2 steps away, stepped back to the window and said "hi I'm the general manager, and we will not be filling your order today without proof that you ever had a problem to begin with". And I asked her who was her boss and how to reach them. She said " sir I am the general manager, I am the highest person of authority you will be allowed to speak with at this store, and I am asking you to leave my drive thru, so that paying customers can continue to come thru. You are holding up our line, and people are hungry". Then she slammed the door in my face.
If that had been a man, I would be on my way to some form of prison for a while, because I would have been sitting on the hood of my car when they turned out the new open sign, and had a nice walk to their car. And I would have asked them how much blood they need to see to satisfy that I'm no liar.
Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had to endure from any fast food place, and I have been...
Read moreI liked the food but almost all my online order experiences are terrible. Nearly every time I order from their website, the food is wrong, and it takes so long that it's cold by the time it gets to me.
I understand the delivery isn't the store's responsibility, but when I order from their website and my food is wrong, cold, AND late, I expected a refund from them since my money went through them, and because I in no way got what I payed for. But instead of refunding me, the chat bot sent me to what I assume was another chat bot pretending to be a representative emailing me, who offered me less than half my order's value in REWARDS POINTS.
I told it I didn't want rewards points and that that was an extremely annoying to even be offered that when absolutely none of my order was what I asked for, so it transferred me to a THIRD bot who offered me double the rewards points the first one offered, and when I insisted YET AGAIN that I didn't want rewards points, and just wanted my money back, it told me they absolutely 100% couldn't give me my $24 dollars back dispite my order being entirely not what I asked for, and that was the end of it. Now I'm out $24 dollars and all I have to show for it is an order I didn't ask for that arrived late and cold.
The company's support team (the same chat bot repeatedly but pretending to have a different name each time) is awful, and you cannot rely on them to correct their commonly messed up orders.
I've thought about leaving a review a few times before since the wrong and cold orders are common for me, but haven't since before now they would actually refund me, but recently they've just been messing up my orders and keeping my money.
Overall: Waste...
