Wendy's — Restaurant in Jeffersonville

all the Nopes that ever Noped in Nopeland! This location has only proven time after time again that the employees only reason being there is for the paycheck! took a 3 year break from this establishment. after three different visits, receiving shriveled up rotten potatoes! you would think employees would care enough not to use half rotted potatoes, but alas, cover the rotten spots with broccoli and cheese, voila, instant profit and cut the food waste? nice gimmick. My neighbors son wanted Wendy's chicken nuggets recently, so I took him to this location, went inside and placed our order then moved out of the way for other customers to give orders, the cashier stepped away to assist the drive thru cashier, I'm not an impatient person and waited quietly for our order to be expedited. after awhile I'm noticing people that came in after us are receiving orders, still waiting, still waiting, still waiting! I'd ordered a large chili to go, while waiting I watched an employee working the drive thru window come over and empty the chili bin! Once the line that formed behind me had come and gone, another employee behind the counter asked if we had been waited on yet?? (Thinking to myself, no, we just enjoy standing around watching the keystone cops behind the counter for kicks) I showed the woman my receipt, received a quick generic apology and shortly after a " Sorry Sir, we're out of chili " response, Guess I would've gotten my order if it had been expedited in a timely manner, instead of wasting my time! guess I should've ordered another rotten potato instead. two things I've come to learn about this location, the drive thru takes priority over anyone that made the effort to walk inside and employees really don't care if they make people sick with rotted food? My fiance and I went here tonight. We waited in line inside for several minutes because the employee taking the woman's order in front of us was all over the place and couldn't stay at the register for more than five seconds. He finally finishes the woman's order and we step up to the register... the same employee would look at us, look away, look back at us, and then he finally stepped up to take our order. My fiance had to repeat the order multiple times to the employee before he was finally able to pay. We step to the side and when I look at the receipt I noticed that the order was wrong and my sandwich wasn't rung up as plain. My fiance goes up to the counter and had to pretty much flag down the same employee to tell him about the order being wrong. Mind you, my sandwich was the Dave's Single. The employee tells the grill to make just a plain cheeseburger. I get a tiny, cold cheeseburger back. The Dave's Single costs over $4 and I got a $1 burger back. My fiance was already ticked that that same employee had touched our Baconator fries with his bare hands and it had taken forever to get our food to begin with so I just threw the sandwich away and we left. That employee was so terrible that even the manager was aggravated with him. The restaurant was not that busy, either, and we waited forever for our food and for my sandwich to be "fixed". This Wendy's is awful! I never actually take the time to post a review about ANYTHING- let that show you how awful they are. Second drive thru lane is a joke- literally don't believe it actually works- DONT ever pull in that lane. Watched 3 cars in lane one get service and literally the car behind me in lane 2 backed up and pulled into lane 1 and was served before me--- finally gave up and pulled around and parked in lot and went in. Inside was a mess- people in lobby loudly vocalizing how awful it was. Only good guy around was Nate working his tail off. Girl named stormey? Drinking sodas and looking at her phone the entire time with a MANAGER while workers had to rush around to compensate. Lady in front of me was ballsy enough to tell blonde stormey what she thought about it- totally awkward and awful. They forget to give you everything you order- and to top that off---- TWICE they have been closed before the time printed on their doors when I have tried to come order something at night. Don't waste your time coming to this trash house. It is not worth your energy- you might as well drive to another place in Jeff or based on how AWFUL they are- go ahead and do yourself a favor and just drive on out to Clarksville or Louisville. DONE...
