Cherry's Lounge — Restaurant in Jersey City

My co-worker and I were looking to go somewhere with music and some great food, so I found this place on Tictok, and after watching a few videos ,We decided to try it out. I am so happy we did. Don't get me wrong when we first pulled up we were kind of worried do to the group of men standing across the street, and the terrible parking but we were greeted with such hospitality. The staff here are so kind it was all worth it. A lady name T took my reservation and she was so sweet on the phone, but nothing compares to the bartender who was also serving us. She was amazing. She was doing everything, so yes we had to be patient. Her attitude was so positive and pleasant I didn't mind waiting one bit. She checked on us and kept me updated with my food and to go order. She was bartending, serving, hosting, and working it honey. She had to be the owner. If she's not, GIVE HER A RAISE.!!! The food was good. My wings were delicious and the rasta pasta I took home was delicious as well. The portions are well worth the money spent. My watermelon martini was delicious. They played music that had me dancing and eating at the same time. You know the food is good when your dancing and eating at the same time lol. Had a birthday celebration lastnight and needless to say wasn't a good experience. First no one greeted us and and when asked about the reserved seating they pointed a finger in the direction to be seated, got ignored for a hour, granted I believe he was management took 15% of total bill, no one introduced themselves and we had to constantly keep screaming over the music to be waited on. Our first waiter left without warning and then told one guest of mine she couldn't order anymore food due to them being backed up, she left and another one took over again no introduction but she wasn't running our table but the bar. The guy that cleaned the table deserved our tip. He went to a young lady in a green sweatsuit so we can get serviced and she quickly told him "they have to wait, with attitude" no waiters because we wasn't waited on, no acknowledgement that it was my bday and the waiters were told multiple times. Food was exceptional. Drinks and service were trash not even sure If it was alcohol in the lemon drops or just sweetener. I could have stayed in my own town and had more fun. Definitely not worth the tip, drive or tolls hope they all stay...
