⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ There’s a particular kind of magic when a pizza place refuses to modernize itself into oblivion—and Joe’s has it down to a science. Walking in felt like stepping straight into 1987 in the best way possible: vintage Pepsi logos, old-school wall menus, and a vibe that says “We’ve been doing this right for decades, sweetheart.”
I ordered the sausage pizza and wings, and let me tell you—my taste buds had a spiritual moment. The wings were lightly breaded (bless them for understanding texture) and the blue cheese dressing was shockingly excellent. Not the sad watery dip you mentally forgive because “it came with the meal.” No. This was blue cheese that actually respected itself.
The pizza? Fresh. Flavorful. The kind that makes you question why you ever tolerated frozen pizza in your freezer at all. The crust had that perfect balance of chew and crisp—no flop, no cardboard. Just… correct.
Then there’s Joe. A gentleman. A storyteller. The kind of owner who can talk about his business with actual pride instead of corporate scripted lines. The staff was warm, friendly, and busy in that “we’re good at what we do” way—not rushed, not chaotic, just flowing like a well-rehearsed kitchen symphony.
Prices are fair, people are happy, food is great, and the atmosphere has heart. Joe’s isn’t trying to be trendy—because it doesn’t have to be. It’s already classic.
10/10. I will be returning, possibly...
Read moreThis is a totally biased review! Chilltown native here. I've literally been eating this pizza since in the womb! My mom craved it when she was carrying me! Fast forward 33 years this is still the same as it was when I was a kid! Not only is the food superb but some of same staff have been serving slices and zeppo's ever since I can remember them. There's a snake plant about my height in the front window. It's grown with me. My dad would house entire pie before we even made it home. So many Saturdays where my family would fill three tables after a trip to Kmart! I'm truly excited that I can now share the memories with my own son and tell him your "Grandfather loved this place." Oh and the pizza is awesome and the cheesiest! Please don't ever close we'll pay $5 for a slice if it comes it to. I know plenty of ppl who feel the same. Thank you for the delicious memories. We love you Stadium! Signed a "Chilltown...

I’ve been going to Stadium Pizza in Jersey City since I was in grammar school with my mom. We fell off for a few years but recently went back, and it’s just as memorable as ever. They might have one of the best regular cheese slices in the whole county. The fries are always a hit, and some of the same staff are still there, including the sweet lady at the counter. That says a lot right there.
Tried the broccoli bites for the first time and they were surprisingly tasty. Inside, not much has changed. Still clean, still comfortable, with plenty of self-seating and even some nicer tables in the back if you want a more sit-down feel. Bonus points for plenty of parking.
It’s nice to see a local spot stay true to what...
