Since I discovered Vinnie's III earlier this year I have been ordering from them. The only reason why I continued ordering from them despite my negative experiences was because their food was okay and I wanted to support a local, Italian family run restaurant.
They treat their customers like they are an inconvenience and as if we are bothering them and they have absolutely no accountability for their non-existent customer service.
Last night I ordered 2 entrees from them and I patiently waited 1hr and 30 mins before calling them (to give them the benefit of the doubt).
When I did call, someone picked up and then promptly hung up on me.
When I redialed I was put in a hold cue, where there were two other people waiting. No one ever picked-up the phone and the food that I paid for was never delivered.
The next day, I called to see what happened and asked to speak with the manager, I was told the Manger was busy.
I asked to leave my number for them to call me back; they also refused to give me the managers name and said that it was against their company policy (this must be the only business in the world with this policy).
The manager did call back; I explained what had happened last night and that I never received the food I paid for or any explanation as to why it was never delivered.
I recieved no apology, but was told that they would send out my food to me later and that my account would be notated, for when I placed my next order with them.
So while placing my order with them, later that day I mentioned that I was NOT to be charged because of what previously happened. I was then told that there was NO notation on my account stating this; I asked to speak to the manager and she then handled the placing of the order.
I waited an hour and 15 minutes before I called them to say that I still had not recieved anything.
When I called again I was told the driver was on his way and would be there any minute. So to make a long story shorter, 3 additional calls later and I still had not received my food.
The only person in this whole ordeal who acted in any way professionally was the delivery driver, he apologized profusely and offered me a free 20oz soda for my troubles. I tipped the guy, of course and then went back inside the house.
So after 2+ hours of waiting I finally got my food, only to find that it was stone cold and no longer edible; at that point we were so hungry that we gave it a shot, but had to throw it out.
The whole experience was bad and I wanted some recompense for my time, money, the inconvenience etc... or at least an apology.
So I called again to say that my food was stone cold and that i had waited 2 hours to get it. I was told by the manger "we will do better next time" and she did not apologize or offer any recompense at all and ended the call by hanging up on me.
So after stewing in bad customer- service purgatory for a bit I called back to complain and was told, not by the manager, but by one of the other staff members that I would not recieve any further complimentary food etc...I was also told that the delivery man who gave me the beverage gave me the drink and paid for it out of his own pocket. (Thank you Mr. Delivery Man).
I let the staff member know that I had not received any complimentary food since I had paid for my food the day before and NEVER received it, and then after ordering the next day and waiting 2+ hours, the food was ice cold and inedible.
I was told that the manger was dealing with a crisis and unreachable, so instead of just taking my information and calling me back I was put on an indefinite hold. I never spoke with the manager and nothing was resolved, nor was ANY apology issued from management.
They clearly do not care about their customers or their employees, since the delivery man comp'd me the drink out of his own pocket.
In short, I would never recommend them and if it was possible to give them something less than 1 star, I would. I will never give them so much as a penny of my money ever again
Sincerely,
A customer that you...

I called and ordered a large pepperoni pie with a penne vodka with grilled chicken.
They delivered plain cheese pizza with the penne vodka with grilled chicken.
I called and advised of the issue, stating that the person who picked up must’ve have rushed and wrote it down, or not heard correctly, or neglected to double check. Because as soon as I disclosed my order, they said ok, gave an ETA with no amount due, and disconnected on me.
I asked to be charged the difference for the pepperoni, and they said they will send a driver with the pepperoni to exchange for the cheese pie.
An entire hour went by, the delivery driver calls and had the audacity to ask me to bring out a cold cheese pizza, in exchange for a pepperoni.
By this time, my kids were starving and ate the cheese pizza, unwillingly, but what else were they supposed to eat for the entire extra hour waiting on this new pepperoni pie?
I called and asked for a refund of the difference for the pepperoni, and they said “we don’t do that” and hung up on me.
So how, I’m charged for a pie I did not get to enjoy, and even if I were to, I would have had to have waited an extra 60 minutes for it to finally be delivered.
I have been ordering from this place for 20 years now, and if I don’t go and pickup myself, there is always an issue. This was the last straw forcing me to publicly leave this review so that some kind of staff change hopefully occurs, that provides better customer service for customers that are SOL all because the staff rushes callers off the phone, not to mention them barely being able to understand what I am saying in the first place.
This place is over priced with terrible customer service. Zero empathy, and a no refund policy for issues caused by the staff. I’m a paying customer, but that does not...
Read more~Tuesday November 21, 2017 around 6pm and I ordered a Meatball 14 inch Pizza and an Eggplant Platter.
As someone who used to make pizza myself for a few places and at home, the meatball pie was amazing, the meatball is cut thin but well seasoned. The pizza itself had just enough cheese and tomato sauce as to not saturate your mouth with too much cheese and keep the pizza from becoming soggy with sauce. The crust was baked just right to give it a crisp crunch and the inside wasn't undercooked at all. The pizza wasn't runny or leaky with too much oil either. Overall, the pizza had great flavor, good texture, and looked tasty as well. I give it an 8.5/10
The Eggplant Platter came nice and hot. This dish on the other hand I prefer to be a bit cheesy and saucy to with my expectations were well met. The platter came cheesy, just saucy enough but definitely not soupy. And the eggplant was breaded and seasoned nicely. I give this and 8/10.
All the food came hot, the delivery came at a reasonable time (about 30 to 40 minutes for me), and the quality and amount of food was just right for two people.
~(Added review) Tuesday November 28, around 5 or 6pm. I ordered an Eggplant Platter and this time, a their Sicilian 14 inch pizza.
The pizza, once again was well made. Personally, a pizza such as this should come a bit cheesier than others, which it did. The crust was thick, which was still delish but I would say it should be slightly thinner, slightly. The sauce was good, and overall, the pizza was delish and fantastic. I give it a 8.5/10!
The Eggplant platter however this time around, came a little undercooked and a delivery man that I've never seen before forgot the platter originally. But the food came fast second time 'round. The second delivery man whom I usually see was polite and understanding of...
