Went here with a friend of mine who recommended the place. I see some people complaining about food quality and service. I am a Certified Chef so I have a certain understanding when visiting buffets. They are mass producing frozen food using huge automated machines and appliances. This is honestly required to create that much food, especially if very busy. What matters to me is that it is correctly cooked, available at all times, and not contaminated in any way, with variety. This place met the same quality I expect from most for the average price. Chicken, beef, and pork dishes cooked in various sauces, steamed vegetables, various dishes with duck, shrimp, fish, and many fried options. While not that meaty, there is crab and even crawfish. There's also a basic dessert layout with ice cream, fruits, those infamous jell-o like slices, and assorted cookies. What truly caught my attention was the sushi option. While not the most advanced rolls, they were still some of the favorites and quite a lot of it. It seemed appropriately prepared and tasted better than I had expected. I don't run in to many buffets with a Sushi option and that does make a difference if you are a fan. Our service from the server wasn't over the top but still adequate and I'd love to come back here sometime in the future. Hopefully it will be just as good of an experience or...
Read moreWe have eaten here for lunch and dinner. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a touch of class, It's very sensory friendly, lights are dim, music is neutral, and there are many options for the picky taste bud.
The staff are always humble, kind, and attentive. My neuro-diverse family always feels welcome and stays for hours.
We eat here often and we are very rarely disappointed. We've been coming for years, and it's one of the few we haven't put down because of inconsistency. Even when the huge parking lot is full, the food is good, and the buffet is large and full of variety!
The steak is a favorite for both my husband and I (but sometimes it can be overly charred or tough and chewy).
No worries, so many other options from seafood (oysters, clam, crab, catfish, shrimp, and crawfish) to pepperoni pizza, fried chicken, ribs and salad. So, if you don't like Chinese food, no worries. They got you.
But if you do... this place is the best... loaded with variety all your favorites can be found here. The menu is so good we take home a plate so we can eat for days (or at least I can, my husband only lasts one day).
Our palate is fully satisfied here... even the sweet tooth. When we leave our bellies and plates are full and so are our pockets, because they don't try to break the bank. Prices are competitive with a fast...
Read moreHuge selection of items, everything I've tried on multiple visits has been really good. The lunch hours provide the best value as the selection is just as full as dinner, but lower priced. We always leave stuffed and satisfied!
There are 6 different bars of food available; various cold salads and shrimp; all varieties of freshly prepared sushi; a soup area with three options plus fresh salad rolls; two hot bars with various fried appetizers, stir fried entrees, vegetable dishes, seafood, crawfish, Cajun sausage, BBQ ribs, even simple items for kids like pizza and chicken nuggets; lastly a dessert bar with many options of fresh fruits and baked goods.
In my experience visiting several times over the years, the food is kept fresh with new batches constantly coming out, but less popular items sometimes may not be as fresh if you come later in the service hours. But I've only experienced that once when we arrived for a late lunch and the restaurant was not as busy. Even still, there was a lot of great options and we were highly satisfied when leaving.
The restaurant is really a clean and nicely designed buffet. The booths are comfortable, and plenty of seating that doesn't feel overly crowded together. It feels very much like a Las Vegas style buffet. And in my experience, the staff have always been nice and...
