Rez Tea & Coffee — Restaurant in Jersey Village

Passing by this place countless times since it's within my neighborhood, I finally paid a visit. This location used to go by the name Zero Degrees, but now it has rebranded. I initially struggled to decide what to order from the menu but thankfully, the staff came to the rescue with some solid recommendations for both smoothies and bites.

They completely won me over with the Strawberry Banana smoothie! The smoothie texture is much different from other places, definitely made with fresh fruits. The manager even offered me a serving of their signature snack, the Hot Cheetos Elotes. The corn was cooked just right, and the blend of mayo and cheese was spot-on. Every now and then I stop here for a quick lunch to get some popcorn chicken, fries and a milk tea. The food quality isn't the best, but it's ok. At least they give you a LOT of food, so it's filling. Their drinks are fantastic though! And service is always great: the few times the server couldn't understand what I was saying, they kept trying and eventually got it--a little frustrating for me, but they did get my order right. I stopped by today and I love this place so much 🥰. I ordered popcorn chicken and jasmine milk tea.

• Popcorn chicken: The highlight was the popcorn chicken! The surface of each piece was wonderfully crispy, revealing juicy, delicate chicken inside. The seasoning was perfect; it was flavorful without being too salty.

• Jasmine milk tea: Its lovely flower scents complemented the milk's richness to create a calming and revitalizing beverage. Every sip was delightful because of the harmony between the thick, velvety texture and the flowery scent. It contrasted perfectly with the savory popcorn chicken and was perfectly sweetened.
