All around 5+ stars!
This hidden Korean street food gem opened up 3 weeks ago and I was just in the area for work, consider myself lucky! Located inside the gas station, l spotted their order counter. I was joyously greeted by the two sisters (who own and operate). They were so cute!! I appreciate the photo menu because I eat with my eyes first haha. They have the gimbap and korean style sandwiches adorably displayed. Everything looked so good, but I ultimately went for the spicy pork bulgogi cupbab and beef bulgogi cupbap - topped with sunny side up eggs, spicy aioli, sesame seed oil and sesame seeds. I wish they have seating but there’s a huge countertop island if you must eat there. Because they’re cooking it fresh, I had to wait a bit but I don’t mind at all. It’ll be fresh! I tasted the spicy pork cupbap and it had me GASPING. It was perfectly sweet, mildly salty, spicy, and tender. The amount of meat, japchae noodle and Korean rice was generous. They deserve so much praise and I wish them success. If you’re in the area, this...

I’ve always been fascinated by Korean culture, and finally getting the chance to try authentic Korean food at Gimbap Heaven was an absolute treat! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality, especially from the lady who I believe is the owner. She was incredibly helpful and took the time to explain the dishes to a first-timer like me, which I truly appreciated.
The food itself was beyond amazing! Fresh, flavorful, and an authentic taste of Korea that left me eager to come back for more. The gimbap was perfectly rolled, and every bite was packed with deliciousness. I can't wait to visit again and explore more of the menu!

Read moreI was in the area and needed a quick lunch. Stopped in here and was not disappointed. It’s located in the gas station, I believe the owners (who are very nice btw) run both. There’s a few tables if you want to eat there. Don’t let the gas station facade fool you - the food is fresh and very good. I ordered the japchae and picked up a spicy tuna gimbap from the counter. Both were very good! Loved the kimchi as well. And I had more food than needed. The portions are good. I went back and got more gimbap and tried the fried chicken over the weekend, all tasty. This place is a hidden gem. I hope they do well. It’s a nice change of pace from the greasy, fried food and tacos usually found at the food counters in...
