We had just got out of the gym and wanted to grab some smoothies but Smoothie King closed at 9 pm. Stopped at McDs for "happy hour". We ordered 2 strawberry/banana and 2 pineapple/ mango. Upon approaching the first window within 30 seconds we discovered via their app the happy hour was valid not just for smoothies but also for the new slushies. I asked her (African American woman with the light pink/ salmon shirt) if the smoothies were not made yet if it would be okay to change one to a slushie instead. She rudely took a deep breath rolled her eyes and said the smoothies are already made. I told her it hasn't even been 1 minute yet. So, she yelled out to a fellow employee who confirmed they were not done yet. So she took a deep breath and said rudely, "what do you want?". Like it was the hardest thing she ever had to do her whole life. I felt extremely awful for the inconvenience so i apologized. She didn't even acknowledge my apology; she proceeded to speak to someone else on the earphone while she handed me my receipt and card back with the biggest attitude. The customer service at this location is extremely poor and very disappointing. I love McDonalds but experiences like these encourage me to go elsewhere. With so many competition its important that you stand out, not with just your food but most importantly your service. I hope whoever reading this would agree on that. I got to the second window and waited about 5 minutes or more. When I finally received my 4 beverages, all "large" drinks were filled 1.5 inches BELOW the rim of the cups. When i asked the woman (older Caucasian) who handed it to me why they were not completely filled, she shrugged her shoulders and looked to the man behind her (young, slim African- American man) who explained to me, "That's how the machine works. It only fills up to that high and that's how we've been serving our drinks". I can't explain how insulted i felt for someone to lie to me and assume i lack the intelligence to know that this is far from the truth. I've been to many McDonalds locations my entire life -I LOVE McDonalds! I have never been given a large smoothie that was not filled to the top of the cup. That is definitely not the norm. I almost felt like i was being targeted for being "difficult" because I changed my drink order. I felt gypped. I didn't ask them to fix it in fear of getting my drinks spit in so I carried on, but wanted to share my experience here. What's even more sad, I believe the African American woman with the horrid customer service at the first window was a manager because of her attire. She wore a light pink/ salmon colored shirt versus the others who were in black collar shirts. Please discuss customer service, enthusiasm and friendliness with all your employees. Learn a thing or 2 from Chik-fila! They are always helpful, cheerful, enthusiastic etc. I will never return to this location again and hope corporate comes by to check this location, provide better training or replace their employees...
Read moreStopped by on the way home from work to pick my son up a quick meal...ordered a double cheeseburger bundle...when I got to the pickup window I was asked if I ordered a large fry, I said no and confirmed my order...when I got home my son told me only fries were in the bag (1 large, 1small) I called the location and begin to explain the error in order while I had a 3rd party on the line witnessing the conversation. The person that answered said that she was the one who passed my correct order to the worker but it wasn't given to me. She asked if I could bring it back and I informed her that I had just arrived home from a long days work can I stop my tomorrow. She said I had to bring the order back in order for it to be corrected. I said ok, ill bring it back tomorrow. I asked her what her name was as a reference and she hung up in my face. I called back, she answered I said ma'am you hung up in my face when I asked ur name and she said call the 800 # and hung up again. I called back this time and said what is ur name and asked would she be there tomorrow bc this is ridiculous she said Marie and hung up again. By this time I was putting my shoes back on to head back to their location. I get there and ask for Marie and told she was gone for the day. Now I'm upset bc everybody acting like they don't know anything so Pearla (I think that's what she said her name is) was calm and nice and eventually helped me. She highlighted the 800# for me and gave me my refund but this lil blonde girl interjected and said so u gonna get my manage fired over a burger, I was like what and she repeated. I was like ur manager hung up in my face and I called back several times. I started to raise my voice bc the nerve of her. Yall mess up my order, tell you could do anything unless I drive back right then and hang up in my face 2 times. She was like I'm gonna take up for my manager she said I called her a B. Still upset I called and left a msg...
Read moreThis McDonald's location has improved drastically for the better since my last review, which was about 1 year ago. The General Manager has hired several High School students who speak good English and have a good work ethic.
On the top of that list is Miranda. She is such a hard worker, yet she is always smiling. When the Dining Room is slow, she will not hesitate to clean the tables or mop the floor. She NEVER complains. And she is always smiling. I walked into the dining area, didn't see here so I thought she was not on the work schedule. Then I see her coming out of the women's restroom with a mop & bucket and she is still smiling. At this point, I gave her the nickname "Smiley."
But she is NOT the only excellent worker. Shout-out to Nova, Stephanie, David, Barbara, Mercedes, and once in a Blue Moon...Miguel.
The Assistant Managers that stand out are Lulu, Perla, & Rocio.
Very good job & acknowledgment of improvement for the past year is the General Manager Aaron Salinas.
And remember this is a fast food establishment...they will occasionally make mistakes. You come inside to make your order, but there is no employee at the Register. Or you make your order, receive your bag of food, but maybe they left a food item out. Or you're really craving an ice cream cone only to discover that the machine is out of service.
If the above mentioned mishaps have never occurred to you, then God Bless you. But sooner or later...it will....
