I custom ordered a cake from this bakery one month ago. I filled out their form correctly and was supposed to get a phone call to discuss the particulars. Four days before the cake is due for me to pick up, I still haven't heard from them. I called them and nobody picks up the phone. I leave a voicemail and nobody calls me back. I replied to the email saying that I'm canceling my order. The manager has the nerve to say sorry we can't respond to voicemails in a timely manner. Why do you even have this service if you can't keep up with your orders? Just another insult to my intelligence and a lack of respect since they've had one month to get back to me and discuss this order. The food from this bakery is usually OK, but they don't know how to be professional and treat customers with respect. If you want a custom cake don't come here. They definitely will not be getting any more of my money.

However, when I bought the bread and got my receipt, it was $7.11. So, I asked the owner of the store to say that the price tag is wrong on the receipt but the owner refused to listen to my concern and said the price ($7.11) is because the price already includes the sales tax. But, as I looked at my receipt, there was another sales tax that I was charged for. I kept talking to the owner about this problem, but the owner was so stubborn and acted very mean to me by saying âwe canât change anythingâ. I looked and asked others about the other stores owned by this same owner, and other people also said they had same problem as me. I think this is a serious problem since they are deceiving with the prices with customers and not many people know because they know not many people check...
   Read moreIt's a smaller spot than their other locations, but still a good atmosphere inside. Everything went well, everyone was nice. We thought so at least, until we had to overhear what sounded to be a manager berating an employee. The employee looked new and completely lost, but instead of helping her, the manager yelled at her loud enough for the whole cafe to hear, something about not knowing the recipe. There was slamming of fridge doors accompanying the yelling, which only made it even worse.
I don't care how good the drinks or pastries are, or how new an employee is or how badly they mess up. There's never a reason to yell at your employee like that. I even met eyes with another customer who looked as alarmed as I felt. Afterwards, the employee looked miserable and was extremely quiet. I felt terrible for her. No management should ever treat their employee like this.
