A GOOGLE REVIEW FOR Medical Fitness and Wellness Group TM I am a 75 year old female who loves to dance, attend fitness / line dance classes, plus do Zumba each week. At my daughterās 50th birthday party in 2023, I danced the night away. A few times Iād ādrop it like itās hot,ā (as the saying goes) into a deep squat to to the rhythm of the music. One of the times when I dropped down, I felt something in my left knee. It wasnāt pain, but a restriction in the movement, so I continued to dance. As the evening wore on, I stayed on the floor moving to the music, but I noticed that my left knee was becoming slightly painful. By the next morning my knee and calf were very painful. There was swelling and I limped as I walked around. My treatment consisted of the application of cold compresses; taking white willow bark for pain (sometimes something stronger); increased water consumption to 80+ ounces per day; more protein / vegetables in my diet. Then I began wrapping my knee and progressed to wearing a knee brace. Meanwhile I continued to attend the fitness / line dance / Zumba classes. Although I was getting better, my left knee was still hurting and limiting my movements. I decided that I needed the help of a chiropractor. Itās funny, how as the saying goes, āthe teacher will appear when the student is ready,ā that is when Dr Dan Lambert, Chiropractor, at INSIDE OUT CHIROPRACTIC, informed me of his new location. So, I began seeing him on a weekly basis. It was Dr Lambert who recommended that I talk to MIKE HARDY, Founder of MEDICAL FITNESS and WELLNESS GROUP. My knee had become somewhat less painful / restrictive at this point, but it was still limiting my squats (what a downer, right). I began using Mikeās services. He applied the use of the Red Cord while having me do several exercises. He showed me how to use the gym equipment that applied to my condition. Mike showed me how I could use items that I may have in my home to do the same applications. He also showed me how to do corrective stretches to strengthen my joints / increase my range of motion. Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn September 2021 I started an exercise program at Medical Fitness and Wellness Group. My purpose was to counteract an early diagnosis of osteoporosis. Meanwhile I lost over 30 lbs and feel better and fitter than ever before. My cholesterol values have improved tremendously, my triglycerides are better than ever, my A1C is down to 5.5 which caused my endocrinologist to let me go for good. My weight is down to 133 lbs, which is lower than my weight at age 15 (writing this review I am 61 years of age). I now wear pants size 0/2 and tops size S/M. This mostly feels surreal to me, and sometimes I think I am dreaming and might wake up one day, and nothing is true. My trainer Brandon Guerrier is my best support system. He never lets me goof off, always knows that there is more I have to give, but he also knows when he should not push any harder. I could not have accomplished any of this without Brandon, and can only recommend that you ask for him to be your trainer, because he will push you to your limits and help you achieve your goals. He never gets impatient, never gives up on you, and helps you to get better every time you work with him. Ā Ā Ā Read more5 Star Review Did you ever have a last hour of the day of the week appointment/ session/ training and you wished it would be Monday, not 8 am, maybe 10 am, when the person is fully awake, instead of the sluggish behavior/ treatment you are receiving at the end of the day? This will NOT happen to you at Medical Fitness and Wellness Group, and especially not with my Personal Trainer Brandon Guerrier. Last Friday I had his last appointment for the week and for the day, and he had a one hour wait for my training session. Kudos to him for his commitment to my training needs, and his attention to every little detail during this last training session. He even stayed longer to discuss nutrition, RMR, the sense of Lumen and other stuff. If you are not already Brandon Gās biggest fan, book an appointment with him for HIIT, Functional Training, Corrective Exercise, anything you can think of ā he will help you with it, and you will be after that! I am 61 years old, have worked out with Brandon for 8 months, and my commitment to exercising has totally increased since working with Brandon G. I have worked with him Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays āsince he has added Thursdays to his schedule, I added another hour on Thursdays for Corrective Exercise to counteract a hump I seem to develop.
