My experience with this Papa John's is by far the worst pizza experience I've had. I ordered a pizza online to get delivered to a friend later that day. 20 minutes before the pizza was supposed to be delivered, a manager called to tell me they didn't have a delivery person, so my order couldn't be fulfilled. This is already a problem, since you advertise for a delivery service. I had my pizza changed to be delivered the same time the next day. I look later at my bank account to see that I have been charged 4 times for this pizza, & the charges are different amounts. I call that night & the woman manager on duty is extremely rude & unprofessional. She just kept saying, "you didn't seem to have any issues this morning when I called". Well lady, I hadn't seen I had been charged 70 dollars for 1 pizza until now, not to mention I was at work. Anyway, I talk to Andrew and he fixed my charges and told me my pizza would be delivered free the next day. Finally, a professional manager. I called my friend the next day, & found out her pizza was never delivered. This place has a lot to work on before they ever get my business again. Definitely disappointing. Read moreA month ago, order two pizzas and breadsticks. Was told 45 minutes. At the 1hr30m mark, I called to check. Was told it would be there in 10 minutes. We received cold food 30m later. Had to heat it up ourselves. Called and spoke to a manager, comped us a free pizza. Sounded fair. Last night, ordered the comp pizza and I pitched in for breadsticks and apparently a delivery fee again, since it seems right to charge your customers to deliver something you are giving them as a good will gesture. Was told 45 minutes again. Called to check at the 1h30m mark again and was told the same thing, it will be there in 10 minutes. This time we preheated our oven so at least it was ready for the cold pizza. At least they are consistent. You would think that they would try harder to get a comped pizza out on time to show that they have improved. It’s too bad. The young man at the register (maybe 20-22 years old) was very aloof when I realize after walking out to my car with 3 boxes of pizza that the garlic hadn’t just spilled slightly onto the cardboard, but was spilling everywhere, getting on my hands, pants, and Nike half-zip pullover ($70).
I asked for napkins and he didn’t even acknowledge me, just taking the boxes and had the staff repackage the order correctly. He later hands me the napkins. He came across rude and I had not done anything to him. Couldn’t tell whether he was just having a bad day or if rude is his default.
