If you’re looking for authentic Indian food that delivers on taste, variety, value, and experience—look no further. This restaurant has truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and seated quickly, even though the place was bustling with happy customers. The ambiance is inviting and vibrant, with a perfect blend of modern comfort and traditional touches that make the dining experience feel special.
The menu is absolutely massive—over 200 different dishes! Yes, you read that right. From street food favorites like pani puri and chaat to rich curries, sizzling tandoori items, Indo-Chinese options, dosas, biryanis, and so much more. Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavor, clearly made with fresh ingredients and expert care. The chefs here really know what they’re doing—each item tasted distinct, flavorful, and true to its regional roots.
One of the best things about this restaurant is that, despite the incredible variety and top-tier quality, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. You get generous portions and restaurant-level presentation without breaking the bank. Whether you're dining solo, with family, or with a group of friends, there’s no doubt you'll leave full and happy.
The location is another big plus—easy to access with plenty of parking and in a convenient part of town. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to, whether for a quick bite, a family dinner, or even a celebration.
The service deserves a special mention—attentive, polite, and knowledgeable. They were more than happy to explain dishes and offer recommendations, which really added to the overall experience.

Title: "Largest" in Size Only – A Genuinely Disappointing Experience.
I had high hopes for Royal Tadka, given its reputation as the largest Indian restaurant in Atlanta. Unfortunately, my visit was a lesson in how quantity does not equal quality.
Let's talk about the food first. I enjoy spicy food, but here, the spice level was so extreme and one-dimensional it completely overwhelmed any other flavor. It was less about culinary skill and more about an indiscriminate heat that made every dish taste similarly harsh and, frankly, unappealing. The subtle, complex flavors I expect from good Indian cuisine were entirely missing.
The most frustrating part, however, was the pricing policy. Our bill included an automatic 18% service fee. For what, exactly? The service was virtually non-existent. We had to get our own water, and the only interaction we had with staff was when our plates were cleared. Charging a mandatory fee for that level of service feels like a bait-and-switch. If it's a mandatory operational charge, just call it that and build it into the menu prices. This way, it just feels deceptive.
For a restaurant of this scale and reputation, the entire experience was shockingly underwhelming. You can easily find smaller, family-run Indian restaurants in Atlanta that offer far superior food and genuinely hospitable service for a better value. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Royal...
Read moreI’ve visited this restaurant three times and my experience was always top tier. I tipped 100% my second visit, and I’m usually conservative because strict expectations. I will briefly layout the pros, cons, recommendations from my experience.
Pros: First is the obvious, this is the only all day Indian buffet I know of (I’ve been to countless Indian buffets all over Atlanta only those that have meat options). There are A LOT of options, especially for North Indian dishes. Most of the food was actually very delicious. This is especially true for the North Indian dishes and desserts. (see recommendations) If I want to make my dish very spicy, I can add the peppers on the buffet to my dish. The customer experience is top tier. Staff is polite and will assist you when you ask. Live entertainment added to experience. Vegetable dishes are full of labor making this restaurant a great spot for vegetarians.
Cons: I didn’t care for the Indo-Chinese dishes nor the fish curry. I will give them another try my next visit.
Recommendations: THE PAKORAS are imo the best I’ve had. I love the use of larger pieces of vegetables. They are very flavorful and delicious. THE PANEER TIKKA LABABDAR is HEAVENLY! The paneer cubes actually have flavor and are not bland. This inhances the already flavorful sauces and vegetables in the dish. EVERYONE must try this dish. Vegetable dishes are full of flavor. All the chicken and goat dishes.
Honestly, this place gets better every time I go. This place is fairly new with strong potential. I’m looking forward to experiencing its growth....
