Initially, visiting this Mexican restaurant the experience was great. Our waitress was very kind. Our food came, it was what I would consider “sub-par.” Not terrible, but definitely not amazing either. After we got our food, I felt like the customer service just dissipated. Our original waitress had disappeared and we had a different one. The new waitress brought our check and I immediately told her there had to be a mistake. For one adult and 3 kids the bill was just under $60. They charged me $8.95 per child AND an additional $1.50 per child drink. I kindly brought it to her attention. She left and came back and said she had consulted the manager who said the pricing was correct. When we left, I placed a online order with the same restaurant to see if I could double check the prices because it just really seemed far fetched to me that I paid $10.45 for a tiny kids meal beef burrito and a tiny scoop of rice. Sure enough, my total with ordering the exact order online had nearly a $20 difference. I was appalled. More so because it was brought to the managers attention who still argued. From reading other reviews, I see other complaints due to the manager’s poor attitude, I can relate with my experience. I feel robbed, now that I see they charged me double for each child’s meal. We will definitely not be visiting this restaurant again...
Read moreVery odd experience on one visit. First off, food was great. Really, really good. Service was so-so. For the odd: when you first walk in they have samples of to-go sizes at the bar. They show a small cheese dip cup, I think it was 8 ounces. We were eating in and so ordered cheese dip. Looks like I should have gotten a to-go order instead because I got a small saucer 1/2 full of cheese dip - not even remotely close to what I have ever gotten anywhere and it was about half of the size of the to-go cup that they advertise. The cheese dip did not come in a bowl, but in some small saucer-looking thing. We were really surprised that they would be this frugal on cheese dip when they are so generous on food portions. Later, for dessert, we got a Tres Leches. Normally they give us a piece about 3" by 3". This time we got 3" by 2" end piece that had a full 1" whipped cream on the side, making the piece look bigger than it was. The actual cake measured about 1" by 3" and so we asked for a different piece. They said no! So much for the customer is always right. We liked the food and will go back, and still have the occasional service issue but the food is...
Read moreI wish I could remember the name of this dish but I can't. Some of the restaurants don't list it but the Suwanee location did. It was a "Seafood Burrito....AGAIN, that's not how it's listed on the menu" stuffed with grilled scallops, calamari, shrimp, grilled red and green peppers (I excluded the grilled onions) and topped with grilled tilapia and grilled asparagus topped with roasted poblano pepper creamy sauce served with rice.
The dish came out very hot and the plate as you can tell was plentiful. The sauce wasa VERY nice addition to this dish. 😋😋😋. If I'd had some fresh baked 🍞, I would have sopped that sauce up!!! Thank God there was no bread since I JUST worked out a couple of hrs ago 🤭🤭🤭. I couldn't finish it. I had a few bites of the rice and left it. I've never been disappointed when I visit this restaurant...and you won't be either. Treat yourself to some perfectly seasoned Mexican food from a place that gives large size portions, fresh hot tortilla chips with fresh salsa and does not break your pocket. ❤️❤️❤️❤️. I...
