the girl working the drive thru was lovely. shes the only reason this place would get 1 star if zero was an option. however the other employees I dealt with were rude and should not be involved in customer service in any way. having worked in restraints for 20 years, I am as patient and understanding as anyone if not more so but I've never encountered such an unwelcoming and actually argumentative staff. they kept telling me I'd have to pay extra for a mistake with the order that I didnt make. after driving back across town with the receipt, they refused to make it right. principle cleqrly states I would not give them an addition $3. I had already paid the correct price. they then demanded I bring the food to them (critical health code violation if accepted across the counter btw). I wasn about come back a third time after going to load up food they shouldnt be asking for to get the side of broccoli I should have had originally. maybe they thought I would just pay for their mistake or more likely just go away. not today guys! the first female I encountered inside was beyond rude as it took several minutes to greet me and then it was gruff. after a couple of minutes a bigger man with a terrible attitude approached. he didnt pay attention to anything being said and started on his phone. unreal. same exact nonsense. not a single sorry for all the hassle. no attempt to save a customer, and they 100% lost me...
Read moreI've been coming to this restaurant for a decade and have had wonderful experiences, until the last two yrs. The owner/ store manager is very rude and has NO customer service skills. Does not care about the customer when there's a problem. I ordered a meal that comes with mushrooms. There were literally only 3 tiny mushrooms in my meal, normally it's spread throughout the food. So i asked for more mushrooms. I was denied more mushrooms. I left thinking I would never go back, that was last year. I tried again recently. I normally get Hibachi chicken, which comes with a choice of carrots or the zucchini/onion combination. You have to choose one or the other, and it comes with mushrooms. This time I said I wanted the zucchini/onions instead of the carrots. I was charged for it. I asked why and the cashier said that's the way it is now. It comes only with carrots, if you don't want the carrots they remove them and add ($) the zucchini/ onion. And charge for it. So, now that I know that they are still rude, but now they're being greedy. AND...I never got my free spring rolls!!! So I'm done with this place. I'll be seeking other Japanese drive-thru restaurants, because I will NOT be giving them anymore of my money. I'm very disappointed in these changes. Too bad... they were once a very nice place to grab...
Read moreFirst of all, only reason I came into this establishment was because I picked up an Uber eats order and the smell in my car for the delivery made me craving some for myself. I came directly back. I do not recall if the lady taking my order asked me if I was dining in, but, she has mastered resting * face, void of all emotion. Not saying it's a bad thing, but, her somber expression did portray her as either hating her job or ready to end her shift. I was also unaware that septum piercings were allowed in food service. I got my traditional order of general tso with noodles instead of rice. I opted in for two egg rolls, a small drink, and, ragoons. I didn't realize even though the menu board says ragoon in singular, that I would be getting a clam shell container full. Not complaining by any means. It took a little over 10 minutes to get my food. The order taker bagged it and tied the ends, as if it was a ToGo order. When I came to retrieve, I actually asked permission if I could eat the order in the store. Overall the food was awesome. The chicken portions were huge. Even though, service was questionable by some people's standards, I will give them 5 stars. Everyone is entitled...
