I am beyond fed up with this location! A majority of their staff is unfriendly, and not to mention unresponsive when you continuously call to get a response regarding an issue or otherwise. I made a complaint on the Krispy Kreme website (as directed by a team member via IG and phone) on the 26th of March after a bad experience with the dozen donuts I purchased. The donuts were dried out, stale, and were inedible. I had to throw them out!!! Okay, so what? Plain donuts? It is MY money that I work for to pay for the donuts & your tax! It is MY gas that I put in to travel over an hour away to be able to enjoy the closest Krispy Kreme! My son is 4.5, and he wasn't even able to enjoy some glazed donuts that he had his little heart set on.
I called this place, AND I made another complaint through the website after 2 weeks of being completely ignored by this facility. I called Krispy Kreme (the phone number that was provided via IG), and they escalated the case. Since March 26th, I've contacted Krispy Kreme via phone and IG 5 times now wondering what is taking so long for this place to do anything regarding my complaint. The manager from Krispy Kreme (not the one from here in JC) that I spoke with over the phone stated that she has escalated my case 4 times now and each time she has been completely ignored as well!! This is NOT my first rodeo dealing with such ignorance and incompetent staff members from this place. A majority of the staff lack the ability to spare a smile or tell you to have a good day. The donuts are always a hit or miss, and they aren't cheap! The building has been locked each time I've been by, and it has been early in the day. Weird. I sent proof of my purchase (receipt and photo collage), and yet here I am (almost 2 months in) waiting on someone to make this situation right!!!
I understand it's just "donuts" and not first world problems, but the least you could do is say "I'm sorry" instead of being unkind and a poor excuse of a staff by completely ghosting the situation! I will continue to escalate the case, but I will not give this place another dime!

I could understand it being a busy time or after a rush or something thats a normal fast to go item, but they were just opened and dead, out of their brand new strawberry shortcake limited time doughnuts early noon before churches were even letting out on a Sunday, I asked when would they be making more, or when they expected to have more and her answer was "I don't know" I asked a couple more questions before realizing her answer to every question I had asked was "I don't know."
I get to the window to find out they actually had the limited time Berry Glazed doughnuts available, which my kids & I've not had since they're always out of them, so I asked since they'd not yet boxed my dozen of original glazed nor had I paid for them yet, if I could just change out my order of original glazed to the berry glazed instead-she told me that she would have to have her manager come and cancel it in the system in order to do that. So I looked around and checked the parking lot and looked behind me, and I was the ONLY PERSON THERE IN LINE at the time, I went ahead and asked her if she would go ahead and please get the manager to do that for me please, and her response was "I don't know where she is." She didn't attempt to look behind her for a manager even though there was 5 other employees standing behind her not doing anything and continued to ask for my payment.
