Amigo Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Johnson City

Going to start out saying that this review would be a zero star rating if it could. I have never had such poor service in my life. It takes a lot to upset me and I mean A LOT but not only did he forget our drink order but he also gave us a small queso and charged us for a large. My drink was empty that whole time and I am not kidding when I say whole time. We were only a party of 2 and the person I was with did not even receive their order. I had eaten all of my food and waited. They messed her order up twice and then the third one they did not even give us but charged us for it and after bringing it to the cashier's attention he said "I gave you a 15% discount" If I do not receive my 11 dollar meal a 3 dollar off coupon is not even close to the same thing. And when we sent back the first one the waitress working with him, very loudly, complained about it like it was a bother and I would like to add on the itemized receipt it clearly stated no lettuce and the shrimp tacos had nothing but shrimp and lettuce. No cheese or anything else. Also all three of the servers were sitting in the back chomping away on whatever while their customers were hungry. One of the people literally had to go to the cashier for their receipt because their waitress forgot about them. This place is no good. I would never recommend anyone to go there. We waited over 20 mins for a drink over a hour for food and then the server was rude. People was walking out others complaining of burnt food. It took over a hour just to get a chicken and cheese quesadilla and they still didn't even do that right. Another 10 mins after that to get one enchilada with rice and beans and the rest of us never even got our food. Other people that was there after we had been waiting almost a hour was getting there food but they was not giving everyone at one table there food at the same time. This was a major joke and i would never go there again. The Amigos in Elizabethton Tennessee is 20 times better cleaner and has great waitresses and know what respect and customer service is. This one is just nasty the people are rude and they have no coustomer service at all. I would never go there again. Please keep your family away from this place. Family use to eat here weekly for a long time. Over the past several months both the quality and quantity have gone down hill. The last two times I called in an order, they messed up my orders. Both times the manager told me that my wife gave him the wrong order, yet I was the one who called in the order. It would be nice if they took responsibility rather than blaming us for the mistake. Takeout portions kept getting smaller and smaller since covid happened to the point we quit eating here every week.

Tonight was the last straw. Wife wanted chips, queso and salsa, so i called in an order. Paid for 2 small bags of stale chips, a container of queso that is about a third of the size it use to be, and two small containers of salsa. The salsa was put in the bags upside down and leaked all over the chips. Had to go to another restaurant to get what I needed. Go to the location down the street or another restaurant because the owner/manager here cares more about saving a penny than...
