Waffle House — Restaurant in Johnson City

Sitting in parking lot right now. I am disabled Veteran. I pulled up into handicap parking and saw the 2 employees inside watching me. I went in sat down in booth to right of counter. Took off my coat, no greeting. Guy walks in they greeted him, he sat at counter, male employee ask him if he knew what he was having. Guy says yes waffle something, girl ask what he was drinking, he says water. Still nobody has come up to me. Man and woman come in door, by this time 2 other female employees come up front, everyone greeted the couple, they sat down in booth right next to me, waitress walks over gets them silverware and ask for their drinks. All this time NOBODY has even acknowledged I was there. I waited a little longer, guy at counter is getting his food, people behind me have ordered and gotten their drinks. There are a total of 4 customers inside, 5 employees, it is 11:18 right now. I get up I leave getting nothing not even ask , no silverware NOTHING. My husband walked to Waffle House on state of franklin to place a To go order since they wouldn’t answer. When he gets there they only had 2 customers and 5 employees but yet they said they are too busy with dine in customers to take to go order and that is why they didn’t answer their phone. We have numerous problems with this Waffle House. If I could give it a zero I would. It was almost $30 for my husband’s hash brown bowl and I was supposed to get 4 scrambled eggs, white toast and a piece of country ham. When he gets back we go to put our food on the plates and to my surprise I paid for 4 eggs and only get 1. I don’t know if better business should be called because apparently there are a lot of negative reviews. And when I tried to call them of course they didn’t answer. I just expect to get what I pay for because I work really hard just to throw it away and this Waffle House has just really went down hill. I hope it gets better because my family really does enjoy eating here when they aren’t...

If I could give this restaurant a negative star that is what it would've received today! My father and I have ate here before with no problems but today was the worst dinning experience we have ever had! We went in around 3pm after my father had been to the Veterans hospital. There was hardly anyone in there and it took about 10 mins before she came over to take our order. Then brought out our food and we still didn't even have drinks. My food was wrong, it was corrected. The sweet tea she finally brought tasted burnt and old. I've never been more disappointed in my life. The waitress kept saying she was sorry she was so behind (on what) we were the only people in there by the time we left. The only reason we didn't walk out and leave was the fact that my father had surgery and he was very hungry. Shame on you waitress for not having the time to take an order properly and serving a veteran with pride instead of treating us like a nuisance! We will never be back to...
