I have dined in before and have had great food. I came in tonight around 5:30pm with a friend. Sat down. Ordered a drinks and placed our food order. Mine was Chicken and beef with rice. Within minutes getting our soup after placing the order my food was brought out. I was shocked it was really fast. I started to begin eating. I noticed that the chicken was ice cold. I took another bite and thought I might be mistaken. Took a bite again and told my friend. This chicken is ice cold inside. She thought I was wrong. I told her to pick out a piece and check. First bite she said “no it’s fine.” Second piece she said “yes that is ice cold chicken in the mix” and spit it out. I told the waiter. He apologized. I said I understand. “Could I just get all beef instead of this chicken since it’s cold.” He went back to the kitchen where I hear the waiter tell the cook “it’s cold chicken”. The cook says “no way cold chicken.” He comes out into waiting room and comes up to my table. He asks “cold chicken? “ I said “yes, not just one piece several to a point I had my friend check and she spit it out from it being ice cold”. He started making a scene telling me he has never had cold chicken in 30 years. I said “sir I have no reason to lie.” He continues stating “no way in 30 years I’ve been doing this could it be cold.” I told him i will not eat it. I literally just got the food and the chicken is cold. He again continues stating “no way in 30 years”. At this point I’m pissed off because he came out wanting to argue over the cold chicken making a scene when I simple asked for beef replacement. But the entire time him standing there making a scene he did not once try to fix the situation or anything. He came out to argue in front of everyone making a scene at which I was trying not to make one. I will not go back there again. Worse experience I have ever had from any place. Did not eat the food but charged full price. they did not want to fix anything but argue with me. Not a professional place $42 dollars for horrible food...
Read moreWalking into this establishment, I observed the wooden decor and front counter as a man greeted me, welcoming me to the restaurant. "Two" I stated as the waiter that had just arrived led us to our seats. The benches, though simple, were comfortable. The waiter was kind and attentive as we ordered. She ordered the fillet and chicken, as I ordered shrimp and chicken. We ordered spring rolls and Gyoza (fried) for an appetizer. It was promptly brought out to us, the Gyoza, a bit greasy but the flavor was good, and the spring rolls..the insides of which were very mushy to the point of not being able to tell what ingredients were used. The soup was a simple one, chicken broth. Our main course came soon after, and we tried our hibachi style meal. It was..lackluster. the rice was undercooked and the chicken was somehow dry. The sauce that had been put on it was too much, pooling in the rice, making half of it soupy. The fillet was mostly fat and we had to search every bite for the meat. The vegetables however were tender and well cooked. The sauce, was overwhelming and very salty. We packed up our meal (to bring to family members to try) and got the check. 60 dollars for almost inedible hibachi style cuisine. The waiter however was attentive and understanding. Tis a gamble going there I would say, not going back myself as first impressions when it comes to food are most important, especially if you are paying for it. It is very overpriced for...
Read moreWe ate dinner here on a busy Saturday evening. We waited about a minute to be seated and Francisco, our waiter, was quick to come out and take our drink orders. He explained the menu to us and gave us a few suggestions. FRANCISCO IS SUCH A GOOD WAITER! Every meal ( I think) comes with the option of a simple side salad or broth. I chose broth and it was very simple but definitely delicious! They had sprinkled parsley and that made it super yummy. Definitely recommend it if you stop by during the cold months. We got the fried dumplings (they looked like pot stickers to me) as an appetizer and hands down.. they were some of the tastiest dumplings ( pot stickers?) I've ever had. My mom and I split the chicken and vegetable medley and we were really satisfied with the taste, freshness, and quality of food. All I have to say is..don't under estimate the look of simple broth...it may be the yummiest, soul warming broth you've...
