This is typically my Chick-fil-A of choice as I’ve always had a great experience until this morning which was poor enough that I’ll drive the extra miles to Peoples St. I get that mistakes will happen, however it was the response that made the difference. Ordered in the drive thru right after opening and ordered an item to have no cheese due to a dairy allergy. I verified twice during the order that no cheese was understood. 15 minute drive later and guess what?? Cheese! The receipt showed to add cheese not no cheese! Now it’s not edible for the person it was for. I called the restaurant and spoke to Steven who was not helpful at all. He seemed to not care at all and instead of offering to replace the item, maybe deliver the correct item in one of their 5 little cars in the parking lot or even start with a simple genuine apology he coldly asked, “what do you want me to do about it?” At that point I could’ve gone off, but I chose to end the call. If that’s the level of service I’m going to receive then there’s no point in continuing the conversation and the result is this review. It was not Steven’s pleasure to serve me today and that’s...
Read moreAlways! exceptional service and friendly staff. I appreciate the moral and Christian based values of this businesses. I'm a firefighter, so other firefighters and myself from the East TN region were in Johnson City conducting traing for the ETRFTA regional fire academy and this is where a lot of us decided to eat lunch. The staff gave other firefighters a discount for their service and I didn't receive one. That's fine, I didn't ask for one and wasn't mad when I didn't get one. That's not the reason I chose to eat here. But as we were sitting and eating a staff member which took my order, think his name was Brad, told me that he didn't give me a discount and he was sorry for that action and gave me a gift card. I told him that it was fine that he didn't have to do that, but he insisted. I do appreciate his gratitude but that's not the entire reason for this review. It goes back to the first sentence. Just saying that this company and staff always go out of their way to provide great service, environment, and great food. Thanks! And thanks for your gratitude towards...

First of all, the chicken patties? What happened? They used to be thick, juicy, and kind of the star of the show. Now? They’re like… the iPhone SE of chicken. Slim. Compact. Not what I paid for. And yet, same price tag. If not more than before. Make it make sense.
Then there’s the cookies. Don’t get me wrong, they’re delicious. Like, warm and gooey in all the right ways. But lately, I’ve gotten cookies that are literally thinner than a credit card. Still $1.65 or whatever the price is now. Thin cookies, thin patties, thick prices.
And here’s the kicker: the wait. I sit there for what feels like a solid five minutes before anyone even acknowledges I’m at the drive-thru. No “we’ll be right with you.” No “thanks for your patience.” Just silence. Like I’m ordering from a ghost kitchen with trust issues.
I still go because nostalgia is real and those waffle fries own part of my soul, but Chick-fil-A, the vibes...
