What a disappointing experience. I wouldâve given them one star, but they tried to rectify the situation with comped drinks and a gift certificate. We made reservations, were seated at the time of reservation, and then sat.. and waited.. for over 45min. Not a single employee came to our table. Noticed the same thing was happening to a couple across the way. We got up and complained, with no success. So after waiting another 10+/- minutes, we decided we were going to leave. As we were leaving, we decided to stop to complain one more time as we were not happy at this point. And that couple, who got seated after us, received attention while we still waited. Close to an hour of being ignored was not how we wanted to spend our Saturday night. So the lady who actually listened to us offered incentives for us to stay. So we stayed for dinner. There are little to no gluten-free options (not the restaurantâs problem, but unfortunate because one of our friends is GF). I got the garlic pesto with chicken. You do not get a lot of chicken for the extra money and the pasta was way over done. My husband got the walleye risotto and said it was just ok. The GF friend got a steak wrapped in bacon with a baked potato. The bacon was soggy, but the steak was done correctly. Our other friend also got a steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Nothing exceptional. Their bread and honey butter was good. Spinach dip was ok, but difficult to dip the chips. Good flavor. The mushroom chips were tasty. I also had their French onion soup- not what I expected. The bartender, older gentleman, totally deserves 4-stars. His drinks were good. Overall, we understand that times are tough and businesses are dangerously short staffed, but this was a less-than-stellar experience.

The Thanksgiving Brunch Buffet was abhorrent. From the cleanliness to the quality of the food. Who wants to eat room temp cheese and vegetables? Canned Ham. Can biscuits. Canned chicken a la King cosplaying as "turkey". The desserts were interesting. In fact, with few items labeled, it was truly a mystery as to what was on the tables. Also, this establishment is not set up for buffet food service comparable to the service they were offering. The restaurant relies on chafing dishes and banquet tables for a buffet brunch service spanning 10 hours. I don't believe the spoons of the serving dishes were even being changed. They were so caked with food from the entire day at 2:30pm. I was pretty ok not eating any of it. The girl dinner and waffle table featured a variety of foods with poor temperature control, like fresh seafood and cheeses sitting directly in the sun. I got to do the limbo getting the lettuce for my salad and that was neat. I ended up dumping the lettuce when I saw an unidentifiable black/brown *something* stuck to the bottom of the lettuce. I am still sitting here with my family, praying we can leave soon. A man too drunk to walk just grabbed the back of my chair. I watched him stumble from the buffet closet through the dining room like a giant drunk baby. Maybe don't overserve your guests, but then again, it's likely the only way they will believe this restaurant is good.

Large portions, but also high price. So fair portion for the price.
