Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Jonesboro

On two separate occasions, I have arrived at the caraway location at roughly 11:15 and was told they have no breakfast food and will not be making any more due to closing soon. This location closes at 1:00. The first time, I managed to convince the woman running the register to prepare a sausage croissant for me anyway, and thought I had gotten some special treatmwnt as a result, leaving me feeling quite happy with the overall experience.

However, it's become obvious that the attitude I caught the first time is commonplace here, and I can't justify visiting again no matter how good the food is due to the unwillingless of the staff to make sales or have a healthy stock of food items during a peak serving time of the day.

I've never left a one star review before.

So this morning, I decided to go get myself a couple blueberry cake doughnuts. Go inside right behind an arriving employee. She clocks in on the computer, messes with her hair and hat…. Then was going to get myself doughnuts without ever washing her hands!! First rule of food service? ALWAYS wash your hands…. When you come in, when you change task, when you have touched money or a computer screen, whenever you use the bathroom, ANY time your hands have been soiled. I work in food service. I wash my hands countless times per day. This was blatantly against Steritech standards. Is unfortunate, because they do have very nice doughnuts, but not worth the risk of contamination...
