My husband and I decided to try Taste of India in Jonesboro after I got hooked on Indian cuisine from watching food vlogs, and wow, it did not disappoint! I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, and he got the Tandoori Shrimp, along with a Bread Basket to share. The food was absolutely delicious—bursting with authentic flavors, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection. The chicken was tender and creamy, the shrimp had that smoky tandoori kick, and the assortment of naan in the bread basket was warm and fluffy. I really liked this mango lassi—it’s creamy, not overly sweet, and just plain tasty. The service was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and quick, making our first Indian dining experience even better. If you're in Jonesboro and craving bold, authentic Indian food, Taste of India is a must-visit!

Taste of India makes fantastic food!! They brought us mango lassi to try and it was delicious. My husband and I shared vegetable samosas for an appetizer. It was super fresh and had a plesant kick (not too hot- just enough for good flavor). I had Malai Kofta and my husband had chicken korma. Both dishes were absolutely incredible!! So full of flavor. My husband also had cheese naan and said it was good. They ask about spice level so they can adjust it to your palate. Each dish is made to order, so it takes time after ordering (not an issue- this means fresh ingredients and fresh food!). Everyone greeted us with a smile when we walked in and were willing to answer any questions. For dessert we got gulab jamun. It was to die for!!!

I ate at this India restaurant the first weekend it opened. I will say the the wait time to be seated and get served were a bit long but that should be understandable given that it had just opened and they were still working out some things. The service was still good and the staff we had were all friendly. We ordered samosas as an appetizer and they were fantastic. The butter chicken and a goat dish we ordered as entrees were as well. The space is a bit on the small side so I could see seating being minimal during peak hours but there is plenty of parking available. Overall it was a good experience and I hope to go back at a later date.

Let me just say, this place is great! Overall I love Indian food as a whole and the food here is immaculate. I love seeing options that are regional and authentic. So far I’ve had the biryani and the tikki masala as entrees and both were great, can’t wait to try more. I ordered both to the medium spice level and as someone who likes it spicy this is a true medium. The garlic naan is so so so good i order two potions so i have enough to eat on its own and then i use one portion to scoop and eat my meal. I also had had the veggie pakora app and the aloo tikki app and they were both delicious. I dipped the aloo in the masala sauce i had and it was HEAVENLY. The veggie pakora was perfectly fried without being too heavy.

Also purchasing two naan, an appetizer, and an entree for $25? Oh yeah. That’s a damn good price for quality and the quantity. I take my leftovers to work and they’re still just as good as the first time around.

I’ve only ordered to go/takeout later in the evening as my work schedule has me coming home late some nights. The service was immediate as i can assume they hit an evening lull after 7-8pm but even then I’d be willing to wait longer if i was dinning in during rush hours. The owner was very welcoming and we had a nice short conversation while i waited on my food (to go), and the two waitresses have been more than polite and accommodating.

I will 100% be a regular customer to taste of India! Support small businesses,...

I had an incredible meal at Taste of India. The food was so fresh and everything tasted amazing. Plus, the staff was really friendly. Andy greeted us and made sure we had a great experience.

Vegetable Samosa: We started with these, and they were perfect. Super crispy on the outside and filled with a savory mix of potatoes and peas. The mint and tamarind sauces were nice.

Chicken Korma & Cheese Naan: I had the chicken korma for my main dish. The chicken was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the sauce was rich, creamy, and spiced just right. I asked for it medium-hot and the spice level was perfect. I paired it with the cheese naan, which was fluffy and cheesy. I'll probably try the garlic naan next.

Mango Lassi: I'm not a huge mango fan but I actually enjoyed this a lot. It was sweet and refreshing and really balanced out the rich flavors of the korma.

Gulab Jamun: For dessert, I got the gulab jamun. They're these little fried cake balls soaked in a sweet, rose-scented syrup. They were so soft and decadent, but very very sweet.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for great...

What I loved about Taste of India was that they were small and comfortable. It felt like being home. One gentleman who worked there walked around to make sure things were running smoothly and even asked some personal questions to get to know me. I also really enjoyed my two servers. They were very kind and served me well, making sure my Indian experience was authentic and even making sure the spice level was up to par. I enjoyed their smile and professionalism. At Taste of India, I got the Chicken Korma, Garlic Naan, Chicken Vegetable Soup, and Sweet Lassi. I have never had these dishes and I was very impressed, especially with the Sweet Lassi! Perfect for a cool fall day and perfect meal after work/workout. It was very flavorful and hearty. I will definitely be going again, as their food was very high grade and it was so personable. They also had several people getting food to go and DoorDash orders, so you know it’s good food. Excellent job,...
