I am very disappointed in the customer service here. My 88 year old grandfather asked me the best place to get cheesecake in Jonesboro. Well of course I suggested Fazoli’s because they outsource their cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. Which growing up in Minnesota was an all time favorite and treat for my family and myself. So my grandfather with eyes bigger than his stomach wanted me to get an entire cheesecake, which I had never done. He also had no idea the location, so being a good granddaughter I offered to get it for him! I called to place the order and specifically asked if I could go there drive threw. I had been running errands and had a cranky toddler with me who was tired of getting in and out of the car/cold. When I got to the drive threw the person on the other end was rude as hell. She told me it had to be rung up, up front and that I could pull around and come in or wait outside for them to bring it to me. I asked her to repeat herself which she did in a snotty manor. So knowing they had two doors and not sure which one to wait outside of, I decided to pull around and just go in. At which point I walked in the door and her co worker who was supposed to bring the cake to me was looking out the other door, looking for me. Without seeing me he turns to his co-worker and says “you were right, you were right.” At which point I spoke up and said I was behind him. He tried to cover with “I just didn’t know which door you would be at” you would have know that if your co-worker wasn’t a * and actually gave clear instructions on where to wait. I had some choice words for them but I had to get the cake to my grandfather and my son home. I will never return to this establishment again, thank you for ruining my cheesecake. I hope you all get fired cause none of y’all deserve to work in...
Read moreMy wife placed an online togo order and messaged me to pick it up. Upon getting home with the order we realized our salads and breadsticks were missing from the order. When I drove back to pick up the missing food I informed the person at the counter I was here to get the items left off our order. The lady at the counter seemed bothered by my request and not an apology was offered. The girl at the counter retrieved the missing items tossed the bag on the counter and walked away again no apology. As a Chef&Restaurant owner I surprised at the attitude and disrespect toward a paying customer. Upon getting home for the second time I realized our Breadsticks were missing.. As a Chef and restaurant owner its policy that all orders are double checked for accuracy, especially during the Pandemic when curbside and togo are at a premium. When my wife called to inform management of the missing breadsticks and behavior of fazoli employees the manager was aggressive and dismissive. I know that good help is difficult to come by but this behavior is counterproductive to the hospitality industry and is a slap in the face of those of us who strive to make a living feeding people. My hope is that this message reach someone of authority and ability to change or fix this problem and stop it from happening to anyone else. This was a rare occasion a chef ordering togo and im sorry to say this kind of incident is...
Read moreEdit: The past several times I have been to Fazoli's, the staff has been exemplary and absolutely the best. Everyone is friendly, quick, and always willing to help. It looks like several improvements have been made over the past several years since I made my original review and just wanted to update!
For whatever reason I always forget that Fazoli's exists, but it's always super delicious whenever I do end up going. The food isn't super expensive by any means, but it's also not super cheap; think a higher end fast food restaurant like Arby's or Dairy Queen. Like I said though, the food is great! The only thing I've seen lately is the quality of the staff; over the past few years it's gone down significantly. Just today one of the employees kept pacing around the lobby in circles consistently the entire time I was there which was making me a little uncomfortable, especially since he wasn't cleaning much of anything. Speaking of, the lobby isn't the cleanest. Even now I see trash under several tables and the when I was looking for a place to sit almost none of the tables were wiped down or clean. Besides this, the atmosphere is typically nice, the tables are large, and the music they play is fitting for an Italian restaurant (and I personally like the music like this). Overall, it's a nice place for a quick-ish bite of Italian food, but there are definitely some improvements that...
