My friends and I (a group of six) visited this establishment tonight, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. One of my friends, who is of legal drinking age, was repeatedly denied service by the bartender, even after presenting multiple valid forms of identification. Despite our respectful attempts to clarify and cooperate, the bartender was dismissive and ultimately stated that the best she could do was “not kick us out.” What stood out was not the enforcement of policy — which we understand and respect — but the manner in which the situation was handled. The approach lacked professionalism, hospitality, and basic courtesy. Several nearby customers even spoke up in support of our group, recognizing the unfair treatment. Because of this interaction, not only did our group choose to leave and take our business elsewhere, but the negative impression also extended to those around us who witnessed the situation. It was disheartening to feel so unwelcome and disregarded, especially when we were willing to comply respectfully. We fully appreciate the importance of following regulations, but the way this situation was managed was unnecessarily harsh and unaccommodating. In the end, the lack of professionalism and customer service turned what should have been a fun evening into a frustrating experience. I was so excited to try this bar but the bartenders acted like us wanting drinks was an inconvenience to them. The environment seemed very chill but fun.. I was just disappointed with the service. We asked for a food menu, but the kitchen was closed and that’s okay, but I didn’t know since I’d never been there.. the bartender got rude about the kitchen being closed. I mean unnecessarily snappy. The group of friends I came with and I (there were 4 of us) were all trying to get served a second drink for 30 minutes after sitting there trying to get their attention. It wasn’t busy when I arrived but my friends and I were being ignored . Also it’s really frustrating that the bar has signs hanging up saying if you get an attitude with your bartender they can UP the price of your drink, which I understand fully, but when you’re getting attitude from the bartender the entire time or being ignored, it’s kind of hypocritical. So you either speak up and get stern about what you want, or you leave. And if you get stern they’ll up the price of your tab? But the service was bad. So I just left. It was a let down. Wouldn't know I called from outside to place an order told me I couldn't come inside, even though all I was doing was waiting outside with my nephews and making a call ahead order she just threatened you can't have a dog out side of her establishment, so you're telling me I can't have my seeing eye dog outside of your establishment because you want to make sure people can smoke there?
