Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in Jonesboro

These are normally our favorite doughnuts, but today's were not so good. I went at about 6:45 am when I thought the light would be on, it was not. When I went in however there were "fresh" doughnuts coming off the conveyor being glazed. I placed my order and selected my doughnuts and took them home to my family. Thats when we found that the freshly glazed doughnuts looked odd. There was something wrong with them. They were not the nice big fluffy warm doughnuts we are used to from Krispy Kreme. They were much smaller all around and denser, not fluffy at all. Not very warm either, this is understandable though as I had about a 45 minute drive to get them and to bring the back home. These doughnuts were nasty is all I can say. The only doughnuts that were good were the specialty one I purchased. I filled out the survey and sent a message to Krispy Kreme about them through their website, with a picture. Both said I would hear something within 48 hours. That was 3 days ago and I have heard nothing. I guess Krispy Kreme is really slipping. Apparently not the best doughnuts anymore. Best donuts anywhere! We love Krispy Kreme UNTIL we went in this one. The girl checking us out got our order wrong 3 times while we were checking out. We ordered 4 do its but she seemed to keep getting stuck on 3+1=3! Then when she brought our donuts to us, my husband's was wrong but he didn't have her take it back. My order was wrong and I DID have her take it back. The second donut ahe brought ne was wrong. So I asked her to come out to the case so she could see exactly which one I was pointing at, again she got it wrong. At this point, I'm wondering if she is ok so I asked her, "Are you ok?" At this point she told me she was new......made sense. So why wasnt the other girl with her assisting her when she clearly knew that new girl was struggling. AND to top it off they had NO regular glazed donuts. Thumbs down to this Krispy Kreme. Only giving it 2 stars because I feel sorry for the new girl and any other new employees that don't get...

My wife and I get to akrispy Kreme, and there is a line outside and inside. We chose to go inside and along the way met the Grinch. No, really, he was delightful, and once inside, there sat oh Santa Clause. Everyone was so nice and laughing it was a very happy environment. The young lady at the register took our order, and we may have waited five minutes, but it didn't seem like it. The overall atmosphere was so enjoyable I could have sat down and felt like being at home. When the young man brought us our order he had missed part if it, but when we said something he looked at the receipt and apologized and took care of it. They had a lot going on, so we had a good understanding. We will go back up for the donuts again. The donuts were fresh and very good.
