I debated giving the Recovery Room 4 stars due to their pricing, but I changed my mind. Their coffee is delightful, as is their service. Lacey (possibly spelled incorrectly) was knowledgeable about the menu and coffee. I enjoyed speaking with her. I have so far visited twice, and the first time I was disappointed due to asking for a scone and mid-size cappuccino. I received a small (think of the Starbucks 'tall') and the scone was overwhelmed with chocolate chips, so when I heated it at home it completely fell apart. Today when I went back for a second try, Lacey explained that they usually put the americano and cappuccino in the smaller cup because they have less or no milk. The mocha I bought today was much larger due to me asking for more half/half. Pricing for coffee is not listed on the menu, but the past two times I have visited it has been pricier for Jonesboro. Competitively, you could probably visit Starbucks or one of the various other coffee shops and get the same drink for a couple dollars cheaper, although the quality would be severely different. Alternatively, if this shop was placed in a larger city, I think it would come across as a pleasant surprise that such high quality coffee is so inexpensive. To each their own.

I think my issues with the scone was from me being a baker because my boyfriend thought it was wonderful.

TLDR: I will more than likely return for the delicious coffee and to try the pastries, but the pricing will probably hinder me from visiting as often as...

I took my husband here as a surprise and it was so silly!! An older lady behind the counter told us she was the manager and that they have pot roast and walked away. It was our first time there so it was naturally awkward. Do we order at the counter? Seat ourselves? Stood at the counter for awhile pondering what all they serve..The manager came back and answered our questions as if we were wasting her time (doesn't she want us to eat/drink here?) We asked for menus and the food looked great. She told us again that they have pot roast. So we sat at a table. Choose what we wanted to order and waited patiently. No drinks came, not even water. We watched other customers come in that were greeted with menus and seated right away (hmmm, what's going on here?) The manager walked over the man at the table next to us and told him about the pot roast. We heard her tell everyone about the pot roast. I looked at my husband, and we couldn't wait any longer (we came here to eat) it was already such a disappoint..so we got up and left. I'm sure the food is great here but the customer service especially coming from a manager...

I really wanted to give a 5 star as the place was so cute. I was excited to call in my husband's order, pancakes with fruit and 2 eggs and a fuit smoothy. My husband is owner of a concrete company and he has been yo working since 2 a.m. I took him at 8 to a doctors appointment for blood test, so he couldn't eat anything before then. He was starving by 8, so while he went in, I called his order and picked it up.didnt wait long as there was only a couple and gentlemen there. I guess I should of opened up everything to make sure it was all there, but as a past waitres, i know i have to make sure everything is there before i hand it out. His fruit wasn't there nor any syrup đŸĨē☚ī¸. He's in a strict diet, so when I saw the menu here, I thought it was perfect. Food was good, but had no syrup for pancakes or fruit. He was still hungry, but he had to go back to work, so I couldn't go back to get the fruit or syrup. I will be back though because it wasn't a bad experience, it just missed a bit for it to be perfect. Bartender...

My friends and I found this gem while passing through Jonesboro after surviving Spring River. The Recovery Room sounded just like what we needed and, boy, was it! They were so nice to accommodate our group of 5. (I would do a reservation for larger groups.) Chris was our server and she was on it. She was kind and patient and gave great recommendations. We had a stellar breakfast and wonderful cocktails! The atmosphere was great with very cool local art displayed on the walls. A group of kids even stopped by, hot from riding bikes, and they fixed them some ice waters to take with them. I don't know many establishments that would be so kind to do something like that. If I'm back in Jonesboro, I'm definitely making this a stop. I recommend the Recovery Plate, the biscuits, Brunch Bowl, Bloody Mary, Mimosa, and Caribbean Coffee. It's safe to say it's all delicious.

Yeah the food is excellent. Bla bla bla. Sure the people there are amazing. Yeah I know right? But the "Vibe." This place is stacked. It has the soul of a place that wants you be happy, content, and have a nice snack or a delicious meal. You time it right and there will even be great music and a cocktail in it for you. This place literally has it all, and if it don't have it, you don't need it. Family owned and operated. They take pride in any service on offer. A cup of coffee almost elevated to art. The Rec Room is a bespoke experience, curated by master craftsmen. ☆☆☆☆☆ #Delicious I was not paid for my review. I paid full price for my food and drink. Nothing was promised to me in exchange for this review. I just had a really great time there.

Forgot to get a photo of my entree but still wanted to share how amazing the Recovery Room is... This mocha iced coffee best iced coffee I have had by far not overly just the perfect amount of great. If they were closer to me I would end up with one every day! I ordered the Asiago Chicken of the lunch menu, it was pure mouth watering perfection! Who knew grilled chicken on chibata could be so good. And to top off an already great dining experience the service was impeccable! The set up and atmosphere is picture perfect overall 10/10, would recommend!
