Pizza Chef — Restaurant in Jonesboro

I looked on web page today and called to order one of the salads. I asked for a ham and cheese salad and even asked what came on it. I picked it up and looked at it in my car and there was no ranch, ham or cheese. When I went back in the guy asked if I had a problem and I told him I think I got the wrong salad, he told me I ordered a garden salad, I explained to him what I ordered and he said they don’t have those salads. I told him it was on the internet and he said he couldn’t control the internet. I said well I called and could she have told me then when I told her what I wanted, he got very offensive and said we don’t have those and he could throw some ham on it. I told him just give me my money back and I would go elsewhere and he rolled his eyes and told me I didn’t need to be that way.i said I’m not the one getting an attitude you are, there were several people in there for it was around 1245. I have never been treated so disrespective like this in a restaurant, I will never go back and I will be sure all my friends and family know, he was wearing a white shirt and hopefully it wasn’t the owner, I did see him get something out of the metal pans with his hands ungloved and stick it in his mouth, I will continue going to upper crust, take down your web page if you don’t have...

I learned about this place through work and apparently it's know for good pizza. I'm pretty picky about my pizza. The calzone dough was buttery and noce, but not as garlicky as I normally make at home. That being said, the sauce was above par but not spicy. Custom orders don't seem to be an issue and arrived hot and fresh alongside standard menu items ordered by other in my party.

Apart from the food, the atmosphere is a little homey and reminds you that this place has been around for a bit. The service is nice and there is a back room to accommodate larger parties (I'd estimate 30 could fit there).

Pizza Chef is not vogue, certainly not flashy or gimmicky. This place just makes impeccable food and has for as long I can remember. The crust is chewy, but not too thick. The toppings are abundant. We got 4 junior specialty pizzas tonight to share and each one was a delight. A mushroom/artichoke one that holds its own against any meat pizza, a cheeseburger one that makes you think you're eating a cheeseburger, a spicy Buffalo chicken one, and a pepperoni that somehow leaves you talking about the cheese.
