Brew Pub & Parlor — Restaurant in Joplin

I turned 21 two days ago and hadn’t had the time to get my ID renewed and I went in there last night with my two buddies and when we went inside the gal bartender was instantly rude. She instantly asked for our ID’s then told us she wasn’t allowed to accept my ID due to it being expired. I simply said okay well then you guys won’t get my business and she told me that was okay cause she didn’t want my $2 tip anyways. I don’t care that they wouldn’t except my ID if it has to do with policy but instead of her talking to us in a respectful manner and simply saying “Hey we can’t except this ID due to store policy but when you get it renewed we would love to have you guys back”. Instead I will never go back and never recommend there place, she ruined the end of our night cause she thought having a attitude was a better way to approach her job that relies on good service to make decent money. Probably why she said the $2 tip thing cause she sucks at her job so even under the influence of alcohol no one in their right mind would...

The bartender is awesome and the pong and pool tables are great, but it’s really a buzzkill to pay for music. Literally the options are to pay $12 for 6 songs or sit in silence. Most places that have TouchTunes will play radio and give you the OPTION to play your own songs. It’s not to force people to pay to play music. It really ruins the atmosphere because at the end of the day, no one wants to sit in silence at a bar. Music is a big part of the atmosphere and I’m not trying to spend that kind of money for it on top of already...

This place plays music and does karaoke super loud outdoor until 2AM, without considering the people living in the neighbourhood. We have reached out to them numerous times but they don't care. They completely disregard the city noise code after 10PM and continue to do as they please. They can easily turn down the music or take their business indoor so we can properly sleep, but they refuse. Please consider not supporting a business that disobeys the city code and has no decency towards the people living...
