So, slightly complicated story. Logan our server, overall pretty good, polite, helpful, and considerate overall. Maybe could have been faster on a couple of drink refills, but overall pretty good. He made one mistake that compounded into the terrible review. I ordered a ribeye, he accidentally entered a prime rib, we all got our food and I got the prime rib, I really didn't like prime rib or I would have dealt with it. So they apologize and say they'll get out the ribeye fast as possible. I asked for it medium rare so It shouldn't be too long. 15 minutes later, my party of 4 is almost done eating and Logan comes out and says it is done, but the manager won't let him bring it because she wants to bring it out personally. Ok fine, pointless but whatever. 5 minutes later she finally brings it and said she comes bearing gifts, as if my order is a present, asks me to cut into it, and it's well done. She apologizes, I said I can deal with it. She then says she'll comp the steak and asks if there is anything else she can do. I said it would be nice to have a brownie. She said she would she what she could do. 10 minutes later Logan comes back and says they can't do anything. I asked if they were out of brownies, he said, no manager said we gave you the steak, so we're done. I don't really have the problem that they didn't want to give it to me. If you think that's too much ok, but have the courage to either tell me initially, or come back to the table and tell me, don't coward out and tell your server to deliver the bad news. If they had delivered the steak quickly when they had brought the wrong item, if they had even cooked it correctly the second time it would be somewhat better But they messed up at every opportunity, and then decided that giving me something free that I didn't order was good enough for them. Logan made one mistake, but did his best to rectify, the manager made repeated mistakes and then gave up and sent someone else to admit...
Read moreSo we went and had dinner Monday night. I went to scoot into the booth and sat in something wet. Like a puddle of wet. I was starving. I blew it off even though my underwear were now sticking to me due to unknown booth juice. We ordered drinks and we waited. We waited over 20 minutes for drinks. We tracked down someone else to bring us our waters. After about 2 rolls, I was thirsty, after four, my mouth was a desert. Our waitress ended up bringing water with our drinks like 30 minutes later. Altogether, we waited over an hour for food. I was tired, and starving, thirsty. Life has been stressful. I have family in the hospital. I needed to eat and go take care of my huge list of whatnot. My expensive margarita drink was almost empty. I was told that state law required me to drink it down almost gone before they would bring me another one. I chugged a few sips, got a head freeze, and the waitress said that would be good, and she would bring my other one out. She told me it was ready at the bar. It never came. I flagged down the manager who got on the drink (apparently, it's policy to have the drink entirely gone before you get a second/no wonder again for the thrist) and she got on the food. The food came out almost immediately. We were asked to cut into our steak. It was good there. The steak was phenomenal. We asked for loaded baked taters, one without sour cream. Neither potato had butter or sour cream, and we were 90% finished with our meal before we were checked on again. The manager took 25$ off our 100$+ ticket bringing it down to a little over 75$ for a drink I wasn't able to finish because I waited for it too long and a baked potato with bacon and cheese. My prime rib was good, but that was the only thing. Should have went and bought a prime rib and made it myself for what we...
Read moreWe arrived at opening time as usual so there would be minimal waiting time to be seated. There is plenty of parking with multiple handicap spaces. There is a handicap entrance for those who need one. The entrance way gets crowded quickly. The reception staff, servers, plus patrons all packed into a relatively small area. While waiting you can look at the available meat choices through a glass case. The restaurant has a western theme with country music playing. The music is loud enough to hear but not enough to be annoying when talking. There is also multiple TVs on the walls. The theme reminds me of a cowboy dining hall. The restaurant is very clean and well kept. I observed them cleaning tables in between patrons. It has a family-friendly atmosphere. We were seated right away. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our server was polite and outgoing. She took our drink orders right away. I ordered the peach tea. She returned quickly and took our food orders. I ordered the prime rib with corn and green beans. The taste of the tea was full of delicious peach flavor. The dinner rolls were hot and the honey cinnamon butter made for a fantastic combination. Our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. It was hot and visually appealing. The prime rib was tender and juicy with a slight peppery flavor. There was more fat on this one than I usually get when ordering prime rib. The meat was flavorful, and the horse radish, onions, and mushrooms made for a next level taste. The green beans were tender but not mushy. It also had small pieces of onion for added flavor. The corn had a light buttery flavor. It was firm but not hard. We had a great lunch and enjoyed the rustic...
