This is a nice addition to Joplin. The food was good, arcade and bowling are decent, not much but it is something.

My only issues were the screen time choices. There weren’t many choices for just a general admission. Of course, I would have chosen grand screen or screen x if there were options but not many options for general experience. I just had the unfortunate experience when coming there was that my kids over the age of 11 wanted to watch Bad Guys 2 but the only general admission was over at 1PM. The only options were ScreenPLAY, which is a playhouse for smaller children. There was more of that than just the regular experience. I know they wanted to promote their different styles of movie experience it just hurt for those that just want to watch a movie without babies crying and whining in the theatre.

Overall, a unique and innovative experience with how they want to elevate the theatre industry. Very new and modern. Good food and decent fun place to take the kids to the arcade and bowling if only there were more. But obviously the real experience to go to the movie theatre is the movies and I hope in the future they’d do more for general admissions...

My family was so excited for this theater! The screens, reclining seats, and atmosphere were great. (My husband and I went on 8/30 to see a movie. Fun experience!) However, when we brought our daughter on 8/31, the older woman that watches you walk in will NOT let you bring water for children inside. That was incredibly shocking, as we only went to the arcade. I saw no water fountains in the arcade or bowling areas. She offered no alternative. And my daughter has a medical condition that requires medication, thus water, thus not overheating, so a medical emergency wouldn't happen. So, that was off-putting at the very beginning of our experience as a family and made us second guess when we might think of coming back for play dates, family time, etc. (We spent $50 for the arcade. Prizes are nice, but are expensive). One of the biggest take-aways was how we were initially treated today. If I would have had a big bag, no one would have known. But I didn't. She saw my husband bring the water bottle in, just carrying it in his hands, though, and jumped us, making him go outside in the rain, to put it...

What a great place for the Joplin area. We were excited to try the new theater out and was not disappointed in the slightest. Our bartender was fantastic and did a great job on showing us selections for our drinks( I got a sidecar and the wife got a boulevardier) this was the first time I had a sidecar with Hennessy but the flavor and profile were to die for. The sugar rim was such a nice touch it reminded me of a bar I was at in Chicago around the late 80s.The bartender was very nice and had nails that my wife was jealous of. 15/10 service and the food was even better. A little pricey in some areas but honestly were else can you find a salmon miso bowl with fresh avocado and rice. We later saw downtown Abbey and loved the chairs and heated options as well. I may have fallen asleep a little here and there but between the food,drinks and comfort you couldn't go wrong....
