Joe Muggs Cafe — Restaurant in Joplin

Amazing coffee, me and my husband have to stop by everytime we are in town, sometimes twice. They have great strong coffee, and an amazing pastry selection to choose from. I personally like the brownies and carmel cappuccino, where my husband likes the macchiato and vanilla frappe depending on his mood. Last time we went for three large coffees it was only $17 and we'll worth it for the quality and service. It can get busy at times, so it might time a minute or two before your coffee is ready. With that in mind don't be rude because you are in a rush, it is not a fast food place like McDonald's, and treat your server with respect they are working in customer service and don't need to deal with douche...

Opens at 10 am, not ready to serve customers. Took at least 15 minutes to get our coffee. I asked barista what happened to being ready for business when you open? She said talk to the manager, I dont work for free, I like coffe, but I'm not coming in early... So, whats the bigger problem here, poor management? Poor company policy? Or just a horrible employee attitude? Customer service is dead ... We always go to Joplin Greenhouse for coffee, but were on this side of town and decided to try it... will Not be back. Marginal coffee and pathetic service... Go to Joplin Greenhouse... better coffee and dang sure better...

Today was the 4th time visiting Joe Muggs - and the 3rd time we left without a purchase.

Instead of taking our order, the barista politely informed us that she would be with us in about 10 minutes because she had some restocking to do. There was no one else in line.

Not sure why the policy would be to turn your back on the customer and continue stocking, which can wait, but I wouldn’t recommend this...
