Miller's Ale House — Restaurant in Jupiter

I worked for Millers for years...I actually opened the Boca store years back...so today was really disappointing. Sunday I called in an order to be picked up. I asked if the store I had called was the one in Jupiter across from The Marlins/Hammerhead's stadium. I was told yes...I go to pick up the order and it was placed for pick up at the Alehouse on Center Street which was 6 miles a way. Got to my Nephews game late...I didn't call and complain, I just let it go...Even though that was a HUGE mistake in my book. Then right after that, my card number is used over seas... The Alehouse now out-sources their to go calls to Door Dash...I had no idea...With that said I placed a complaint with the Alehouse Corporate offices and was told to call my bank to get a new card number...Hmmmm I'm 62 I think I already know that! The conversation had not one ounce of truly caring for either mistake. The card that was used is rarely used so therefore I am certain my reading my card number to who I thought was an Alehouse Employee, but was not, was the culprit. You don't care about my business was heard loud & clear! Just an FYI: If you don't appreciate your customers it may be sometime soon you don't have any walking...

Aside from great food and service ... my heart was touched tremendously by the care and diligence in their maintaining a clean environment. First off we experienced the social distance seating. 2nd they had disposable single use menus. 3rd ... no plastic folder to hold check for payment. But the absolute 'thing', I found most impressive was an older attractive woman ... as I was kibitzing with my girlfriend, I would notice her nonchalantly circling around the dining and bar area. My first thought was of just wonder why she couldn't just sit and relax like the other customers ... then ... dash aahhh, I went to use their facilities and wash my hands. Lo and behold this attractive older woman came into the bathroom ... and THAT's when I noticed, she was holding a spray disinfectant bottle ... boy, did I feel foolish ... she was circling around the entire restaurant and bathrooms discretely cleaning and sanitizing table tops, seats, bathrooms, etc. So discretely I did not pick up on it ... until I actually witnessed her wipe down the bathroom before I washed my hands. I was so touched by her care and concern and discretion ... all I could think is "WOW !!!" ... Yes, I know ... my vernacular needs...

Went in on a Wednesday night. The place was half empty and most people that were there we're only drinking. Put my full order in and 10 minutes later i received my appetizer which was lukewarm at best. 45 minutes later we still had not received our dinner (chicken wings and zinger tacos) i asked our server, Jackie who had been past our table numerous times if the kitchen was backed up? (knowing it wasn't because i was very close to it and was able to see the empty stove tops and all the servers just having conversations) She responded with "you haven't got your food yet?" I was dumb founded! I don't know if she was on drugs or just a serious lack of sleep...or just stupid. Then she tells us she "thinks" she remembers putting in our order. The story goes on with my conversation with the manager (he made a bunch of excuses for her about being on her 4th day training and told me how nice i am and offered free food) but I'm done. I ate taco hell for the first time in over a year because nothing else was open on our way home. The service was better at Taco Bell! WTF. Total time spent was over an hour for water, lukewarm steamed clams and...
