We moved to Kalamazoo from New Orleans over Labor Day Weekend of this year. It was a sudden change; I had never even been to any state in the Great Lakes region in my entire 49 years of life, despite living on the west coast, in the southeast/Atlantic coast region, the Gulf Coast, even the southwest. After unpacking the moving truck, the next morning the FIRST thing we did was find the nearest coffeehouse...coffee is, to me, like a lifeblood, a comfort, a food group. My chai tea was watery, not very sweet, and I could feel what felt like grains of spices in it (not at ALL in a nice way). And that was a $7 drink. If you’ve never had bubble tea and don’t mind paying extra for the novelty (and don’t get chai) you’ll probably like it. If you’ve had quality boba before, you’re likely to be disappointed. And their food is probably fine, but I...
