Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Kalamazoo

Honestly, the worst location of cold stone I have been too. I ordered a birthday cake for my girlfriend to have a writing on it as well which was suppose to be ready at 7:15. When I arrived at 7:15 the two women that was running the store at the time was not constant nor knew what they was doing. I asked the girl in the grey goldstone hoodie, matron pants, and small gauges in her eyes with her hair up why my order was not ready when I called hours ahead for it. She stated to argue with me that they have customers back and forth with me plus given me a attitude. Which then to find out the they thought my name was Marie' which I'm not sure if the girl was racial profiling me but when I stated it wasn't me because she gave me shake. I ordered a cake and had to repeat myself constantly. Then didn't even apologize either. When they realized my name wasn't Marie they looked for my order to find out the cake has been just sitting in the fridge with no written words. Went in last evening 9/11 with 15 minutes before close and after a minute of being in there looking at the cakes, the employee with the big hair closing, asked if we were getting a cake or ordering ice cream and I said we were just looking at the cakes and she became VERY rude and started talking in a nasty tone and said “well all these people in here already ordered (people sitting at tables) and we’re short staffed and we need to close down so if you’re gonna order something then it needs to be now”. ma’am?? you don’t close for another 12 minutes at this point. her nastiness lead us to laugh at how she was acting and let her know we will be going anywhere but there. she’s clearly not a good worker if that’s how you talk to a paying customer doing nothing but looking at what to order at an open business, would recommend some friendlier staff. went there for my boyfriends birthday, and left disgusted at how the...

I visited Sat (9/11) and the store was busy and understaffed. I felt so bad for the lead shift worker, the girl with gorgeous big hair. She was doing her best. They had minors working and they had to close early which was understandable; understaffed and with minors yeah they had to close early. They have to clean the store. Some girl came in late like about 10-15 before the original close time (the open sign was literally off and the big hair girl had to announce that they were closing because they were understaffed) and she was so rude. The big hair girl explained they had closed early due to staffing issues. This customer was just awful and had a total Karen moment. Why come in right before close to get a birthday cake?
