2 employees made a spectacle of my family by making a public issue of my 4 year old autistic child playing in the toddler area ball pit. The toddler area, specifically for kids in diapers, which he is. The toddler area where children can play safer as it is less crowded and quieter. Where my 2nd child was playing so i could supervise both of them as is required. No signs or anything online to indicate that it is age restricted. I did appreciate the first employee who tried to speak to me quietly and address their issue. But when she walked away to "talk to the boss" (after identifying herself as the manager) a different employee approached the area and loudly announced "anyone over the age of 3 out of the ball pit". Not willing to hear me out. Not willing to lessen the attention he was unnecessarily drawing to the situation. This employee was the problem. We collected both kids and left the toddler area effectively ending my daughters chance to play so we could try and salvage my sons first time being to a place like this. While we were moving to a different area to play the first employee approached and apologized for the firmness of the rules stating pressure was being applied from corporate. We thanked her. We were also approached by a 3rd employee who again apologized and offered us a card that would allow us to return another time. We wont be using it. In a place that preaches inclusion for people of all ages to play i am extremely disappointed in how all of this was handled. We were minding our own business playing in the ball pit safely and being sure to allow space for anyone else who wanted to play or just pass through. There was no need to make such a small situation that i thought had been addressed into something like this. We should not have been made to feel embarrassed for doing exactly what we thought we should be, what we thought the whole point of the place was. We will not return. And i will be sure to tell any person i can about my...
Read moreThis was our first visit and we had a terrible experience. The purpose of our visit was to meet my sisters family and let the kids play as her son recently celebrated his 4th birthday and we were unable to see him on the actual day of his birthday. When we arrived, we had to stand outside and wait because it was so packed. We then finally made it inside and it was packed so we waited to pay. We finally paid, took off our shoes and made our way to get in. Once we got up to the gate to get in, the staff asked if we were part of a birthday party because we had a birthday gift. We told them no as we weren't there for a party, it was just a gift for someone's birthday we missed. The staff and manager refused to let us in with the birthday present because we did not pay to book a full birthday party. The manager was rude and unprofessional. I told her we weren't having a big party, we didn't have a cake, balloons, or anything for a party. She still refused to let us in with the gift. The manager said this information was on their website however I was only able to see no cakes were aloud if a birthday party was not booked. Not wanting to ruin our kiddos get together, we reluctantly put shoes back on and took the gift back out to the car and returned inside. Once we were inside, we sat down to watch the kids play and I have never been so terrified for all the kids safety like I was at that establishment. I watched several kids fall down one of the play structures while large adults went directly after them and almost fall directly on top of them. The one structure alone is downright dangerous. They did finally have a staff member go to the top and stop too many people from going down at once however it did not help at all. After watching several kids walk out of the structure in tears, we had to tell ours that they could not play in that area. The downright unprofessionalism, safety risks and chaotic environment are enough to make us never return. 100% would...
Read moreWe have visited this establishment on numerous occasions without issue. However, after our most recent experience in February, we will not be returning. Our group of 10 arrived at 2:00 PM to find the venue packed. Fortunately, we were able to secure the last large table available. However, just 10 minutes later, we were asked to vacate the table and move to "standing room only" to accommodate a scheduled birthday party that was expected to take over all the large tables.
Had we known that the only available seating would be standing room, we would have chosen a different time to visit. It was disheartening to see that the large tables remained unoccupied for hours while we stood, despite the fact that we would have gladly vacated the table once the party arrived.
The staff's handling of the situation was disappointing. We were informed that they were not required to notify guests about the standing room only arrangement until the venue reached its maximum capacity of 400 people. This lack of communication is concerning, especially for families with young children, strollers, or car seats, who may need seating. It is simply common courtesy to inform guests when capacity is approaching before they pay for entry, especially if seating is not guaranteed.
Had the staff been more accommodating and professional, we may have considered returning in the future. Unfortunately, this experience has left us with no intention of doing so.
Also you'll see lots of 5 star ratings because they give your kids a "free" balloon if you leave 5 star ratings. Just ask them at...
