This review is not a reflection of the food I was provided. More so to speak up for the treatment of a Hungry Howies employee by the name is Jaden by a very rude customer. 9/15/24 around 6pm it was very busy in the small store and Jaden was trying to correct a order for an unhappy customer upon giving the rude customer the corrected food she quickly inspected it and was upset that her order was still incorrect. Understandably she had a right to be upset. However she did not have a right to BELITTLE Jaden and call him names!!! That was not right she said very hurtful things to Jaden and he just took it. Jaden handled the customer very well by staying quiet and still he tried to please the customer by going above and beyond. And from my understanding Jaden was not the one who made the food so it truly was not his fault. Now I understand that there will always be rude customers but Jaden who appears to be very young I feel like should’ve been supported by his manager & team but no other hungry howies employee spoke up, stepped in, or did anything to try to rectify the situation. There is NO WAY Jaden should not have gotten some kind of support from his colleagues!!!!!! I am really hoping this review reaches the boss/supervisor/manager that needs to know about this situation and does something nice for Jaden as he really deserves it. Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. Ordered food at 6:16pm for a delivery (lost power and couldn’t cook since our stove is electric) we figured we would just get some pizza & breadsticks. Big mistake. 2 hours goes by, approximately 8:16, still nothing. Our status changed to “on the road” around 7:15. 45 minutes being on the road and we live not even 5 minutes away. Finally, I had enough and went to go see what was up. I was genuinely concerned and was thinking our driver got in an accident, etc. I look online and it says the place closes at 9 & began to worry. I immediately notice how flustered everyone is inside and decide to give them a break and just simply ask where my delivery order is. I hear the driver say “oh yeah I was delivering that but came back” to the guy at the front. I wasn’t even given a refund for the delivery fee and they were very rude when all I wanted was to make sure we got our food before they closed. I could have been mean about it and caused a fit, but I didn’t. I’m very upset at the rudeness that occurred and for the fact that our pizza sat for over an hour. It was disgusting by the way. Just avoid this place at all costs, a lot better pizza places around that aren’t so rude when you wonder where your orders been after two hours. I placed an order through the App at 12:52PM at 1:54PM the apps track my order feature still showed the order as being made, I contacted the store on South Drake as they were the store I ordered from and the store listed on my confirmation email. I was informed they did not have my order and though my card was charged they could not refund as they dont make the charges, I was then directed to call customer service which for to corporate to get my refund and was told it is all their fault and that this issue has been on going for days yet you can still order through the App though they know it is not working. Corporate informed me that they dont understand why I was directed to call them as the store on South Drake is a franchise and the debit was processed through their 3rd party system and not corporate. Now I gave a charge I will have to dispute through my bank, no lunch, and the customer service\blame game is not acceptable and is terrible customer service.
