We were a party of 2 this evening arriving at about 4:30. There were 2 people already in O'Duffys. We quickly received our ordered drinks and waited until 5 to place our food order. I ordered the Vodka Pasta and my husband, the Chicken Pot Pie. People who came in 30 minutes after us were finished eating before we received our food. The server stopped by and told us that they were waiting for the pot pie crust to "puff up" and it would be 5 more minutes. Actually was 20 more minutes. That's all fine but I predicted that my pasta would be stone cold. I was correct. I watched my husband eat his steaming hot (delicious) pot pie while I waited for my pasta to be reheated. We were frustrated so got the peanut butter pie to go. We've had it many times before and it is pricey, but awesome. See attached picture. What a disappointment 😞

O'Duffy's is our local pub in Kalamazoo's Vine District, where we religiously go at the end of the working week to have a good pint of Guinness and a gin and tonic with local Michigan distillates. This is usually accompanied with the house free peanuts, which we never miss. The bar tenders treat us like royalty and are familiar with all our eating and drinking quirks. Their weekly menu specialities (e.g. mussels) are creative, tasty and very well priced. I love their white cloth serviettes. Publican Jamie Kavanaugh and his dog Molly do the rounds, soft conversation under a rowdy background.

Everytime I come here, it's always cozy, inviting and friendly ... and the beer's cold ... and the food's really good! 😁👌 Just an all around fun place to come -- whether an afternoon beer with friends, a special family dinner, or a romantic evening with your love. You absolutely will not be disappointed! Oh, and the bathrooms ... so freaking nice and clean! Might not be a big deal to most, but for me it's the cherry on top and shows this place cares and is run well! Keep up the good work guys!

This is legitimate pub. When I say legitimate, you have places called pub, but they are basically dives with the name O apostrophe on the sign in front. O'Duffy's on the other hand , is a pub. When you set the bar, you feel like you are kneeling at the church of Guinness. The ornate bar and bar shelf, give You a sense of "pub" that you start hearing Danny Boy in your head. The hardwood floors and the up kept antiquated interior, down to the powdered soap in the bathroom, makes you feel like you want to go outside and hurd sheep.

As for the vibe, just a normal bar. I've gotten smashed here and chattered up folks, and It feels too upscale to be a real pub.

Basically, it's an upscale bar that bought an...

A classic little Irish pub with an beautiful old fashioned bar and quaint front patio. They have a Great Britain forward beer and cider menu. Also serve wine and spirits with a focus on Irish Whiskey. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was good standard bar fare with a few more gourmet dishes. The service was attentive and prompt. My one complaint was that I ordered a meatless Greek salad that cost $7 and it was the size of a side salad. I was kind of disappointed but that informs the price on the rest of their food. It's decent enough but I think for the price there are better places to eat. Excellent atmosphere for drinking with friends or alone with a good...
