Summit Pizza Co & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Kamas

The pizza is decent and the cheesy bread is amazing. I have been coming here for pretty much my whole life and have always enjoyed the food. The only issue I have is unaccommodating and unfriendly staff. I called in an order and asked if I could get cheesy bread and pay extra to add chicken and pineapple to it. I love the cheesy bread and just wanted some other toppings on it. The woman told me very flatly, “We won’t do that.” I was surprised at her very curt statement and lack of friendliness but was willing to adapt. Instead I asked if I could get a chicken and pineapple pizza with the same buttery sauce or coating from the cheesy bread. She once again very flatly and unsympathetically told me that she couldn’t do that either. On top of this exchange on the phone, the woman I picked the pizza up from, who I believe was likely the same woman, was very unpleasant and seemingly annoyed to be helping me. Furthermore, one of our gluten free pizzas was burnt. I like the cheesy bread a lot but unfriendly and unaccommodating staff and/or policies would certainly drive my business away if any other pizza place came to the area. *After the response received I have decided to amend my rating to 4 stars. My husband and I went in for pizza on Monday night 1/20/25. The restaurant was a mess! It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned all day. Someone had taken a big dump in the bathroom and left it. The bathroom was a mess as well. There were four boys working and only one other customer. We received our order 15 minutes before closing time and were enjoying our pizza when, only minutes later, one of the boys came and turned the lights of in the dining room and played “Closing Time” and “Get Out” over the sound system. Seriously?!

A few minutes later, one of the boys came in and said the dining room was closed (before actual closing time). I looked around at the filthy dining room and told him we’d just like to finish our last couple of bites and didn’t mind if he was cleaning up around us. He laughed and walked away. Suddenly the music volume was turned up extremely loud in the dining room (and the boys still weren’t cleaning). We were so disappointed with the boys’ lack of patience and responsibility. We actually felt like we were being bullied, and we left. We are locals and typically enjoy dining at Summit Pizza.If we decide to return, we certainly hope the employees receive customer service training or Summit Pizza may lose its Best of State...

We travel from salt lake to this location. The food is always AMAZING! However, the customer service from who I believe is the manager is horrible!!! We have been here at least ten times and every time she is super unpleasant. She always has a pissed off look on her face and is rude and very short and acts as if you’re putting her out by asking questions. Everytime I asked her how she is or tell her thank you there is no response. We came to this location on recently around 11 and I was blown away how she acted. We waited 40 minutes which was understandable as there was a lager to go order. While waiting in the dining area there were a group of men who came in and were talking about her and how she bit their head off for asking how long it would be. And one of the men said it’s like this every time he comes in as well. When leaving she was yelling at the kid that was working with her and didn’t acknowledge when we said thank you and to have a good day! I understand having a bad day!
