Vibez Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Kannapolis

This is a lengthy review, please read, but just in case you don’t, please be advised that at Vibez Bsr and Grill are sales are final, the customer experience doesn’t matter to them. The vibe on 6/22/2025 was it vibing at all. Red flags early on. Our party arrives at 2:25 for brunch that was supposed to last until 3 and for the live music. One waitress comes and we ask her a couple, she has to go ask the manager( will get to him later in the review), while waiting on her another waitress comes to take the brunch menu off the table and says they are no longer serving brunch with no reason given. Red flag #1. We proceed to order from main menu. We order a couple of appetizers and had to ask for utensils and small plates to share. We proceed to order from main menu. Friend 1 orders a burger, friend 2 orders shrimp tacos, they are out of shrimp, she orders the grouper tacos, out of grouper, she orders the chicken tacos. I order the side Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Tacos a burger come out, they look good. However my salad comes out in a soup bowl with no room to move the salad around in, I ask for a bigger bowl. I proceed to cut up my chicken strip and the dressing. I take a couple of forkful and the salad is not my liking, tha chicken had no flavor, there was just the green part of the romaine lettuce,no texture at all. So when I tell the server, I didn’t like the salad and would like to have it removed, her response was I will talk to the manager. The manager comes out and ask what was wrong with the salad, I stated I didn’t like it, why didn’t you like. At the time I said it wasn’t good salad. I don’t go in to much detail, I guess I should have but after reading other reviews it wouldn’t have mattered. He says, ok I will get without sever. I thought it was going to be removed, bill comes, nothing been removed, I ask the server about it and she says the manager said he wasn’t going to remove it. The bill is paid, however when ask the manager about he then proceeds to lie about our conversation by telling me that he told me all sales are final, that never came up in the conversation nor it’s not stated anywhere. Not a good place to work at all. Great at first and all very aware and considerate of my pregnancy but my third shift there another server that I had just met was so rude. I asked her name and she ignored me and waved me off while she sat at the bar talking to the bartender. Let me have One table and the very beginning. They ordered a hookah from me and I asked the bartender to show me how to make one because I wasn’t familiar and I just needed to be shown one time. The rude sever jumped in and OFFERED to show me instead of the bartender. She showed me how and we took it to my table. From there on out I had two more tables because and one because they requested me because it was my family. She would take menus from me and the third server on the floor and say I got it. No they have no rotation system at all. So me and the third server basically just sat there all night and did nothing. She took the whole restaurant and even had the bartender transfer a table I already started over to her.. for no reason. Closing time they made me tip her out $5 for making my hookah for me and when I asked why? They said well didn’t she do all the work?… yes, but she was training me on how to do it… and she offered. I now realize she offered to take advantage of me that night. I know it’s just $5 but you literally just got done taking all the tables from us. The owners and managers couldn’t have been to oblivious when me and the other girl just had to stand there and watch her make all the money. Good food and clean environment. There’s just favoritism and that’s ok I’m sure she has seniority but they clearly just don’t care and won’t ever keep any servers. That’s just not how you manage or...

This was our first time trying this place. We should've turned around when they told us we could sit in a reserved section on the patio for $50, this is not uptown. We ordered wings, a chicken sandwich and 4 drinks. My husbands drinks we're $5 or $6 on the menu. They charged me $8 for Tito's which is fine but also charged $3 for lemonade because I asked for a little extra. They charged my brother for doubles when he ordered singles and then kicked him out because he used his vape a second time by accident. I guess we were supposed to know the drinks are more $$ after 8. My sister ordered the hot wings and asked our waitress for water, she brought it late and apologized, no issue there. But I asked another waitress for water in the meantime and she was a hair shy of cussing me out for asking and blatantly ignored me. This place is ratchet. Its apparent they nickel and dime you with the prices to run up the check. The wings were good but save yourself some aggravation and order take out.
