WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE/HOTEL STAY EVER! Do not waste your money staying at this hotel. The staff is very rude and will not help you with an issues you may have; they will only laugh in your face and embarrass you. The week of the 28th I put down the required $150 deposit. I stayed for a couple days with NO issues. The week of the 4th I renewed my stayed and was told by the front desk associate that I was all set up until Thursday morning (the 8th). Wednesday night I arrived at the hotel and went to get into the room and my door key did not work. I went down to the front desk and told the front desk associate that the key was not working and he replied with “yeah I know, you didn’t pay for tonight” and proceeded to laugh in my face. I then explained to him what the previous front desk associate told me about being set until that Thursday and that I could not afford to pay more and would be homeless. He smirked and said “we took Wednesday night out of your deposit but you can’t stay here.” So they took money out of the deposit for another nights stay and still would not let me use the room for the night that they did that for. I then asked to go into the room to get my personal stuff out so I could leave and he refused to let me. I then told him to cancel the reservation for the rest of the week and he laughed in my face and said no and he would not do that. The police had to be called in order to get the employee to let me get my belongings & the police stated that they did not understand why the guy was doing that to me. They then recommended that I should call the manager during the day and speak to them. So I called the day after this happened and spoke to a manager. She said the employee that originally informed me that I was good to stay until Thursday admitted to telling me this, and still would not give me a refund of my money or cancel my stay. I expressed how disrespected I felt by the employee who laughed in my face and refused to let me get my belongings/cancel my stay, and she said “Well what happened is kinda funny” and stood up for that employee. So I was charged for three nights and they would not let me stay any of those three nights that I already paid for, or give me a refund. Read moreThe room was clean when we arrived. No problem there. The area is not the best. There are "characters" hanging around! We picked this motel because of it's awesome price. I would've rated this room about a 6 or 7 BUT we were hit with a $150 deposit at the motel desk when checking in. We had already paid a nonrefundable fee online. We were trapped. I have learned, and now wish to warn all others, that if you have to pay this kind of deposit, they WILL find a way to keep the deposit. I went to GREAT lengths to leave the room in excellent condition. But they called and said they watched the security camera footage and saw a guest smoking in the doorway of our room. The doorway led to outside; we opened the door and the guest smoked on sidewalk and walked back and forth to the door a few times to converse with others who were just inside the door. But because the policy said 2 feet from doorway, and the guest stood too close to doorway, though outside regardless, they kept the deposit. They will find a way to keep it!!! They will watch the video footage are looking for things to blame you for. They especially look to see if you had more than 3 guests in the room. Don't let four people into the room ever. They will zap your deposit. The room next to us told us that. This is the only way they can keep the prices low, because they will steal as much of the deposits as possible!! By the way, Quality Inn in Kannapolis does the exact same thing. They keep your deposit! Dont' go there. And with the covid mess going on, they won't let you in lobby. These motels keep advertising online FREE BREAKFAST, but since March 2020 there is no breakfast. Take it OFF your online site and off of priceline. It's false...
Read moreive stated there couple times before a n most went well,but this time i got there late.i was filthy dirty an..too im a bilateral amputee...so abouyt everything i do is a struggle.why is there not any type discount for disabled an why des this motel does not have ANY disabled rooms ..nohow.i can deal with that mostly..but 17 inch seat wheelchair wont fit through bathroom door.so you have to slide off chair reach way up for towels an crawl to toliet an shower.he told was full but had a room in back.124..i was tired so knub were painful so took it.finally got into room an it look like never been cleanbeds had tin of dirt..floor look like only been vaccum in path around bed to bathroom.walls around frt door were dirty an floors worese..mind u i have to crawl on this.shower pan was only thing clean.i shower an get into bed an realliuze there is no remote control.im too tired to put legs back on an go back around to desk.then there is no trasj can beside bed.also 1 light very dull an dated over desk an light at sink.that a problem with most ther rooms.only two usable liughts.like read write in nite,so i go to desk sun am an tell same guy about condition of room an that he should compensate me cause im not one time guest.he say no still 85.00mind you it 8am told him about remote am would he come look at room ..never did neither..remote or see what i waqssayn.a very bad experence an plus when check in there was a person behind me who got a room but yet place was full.there is 3/4 motels close by i guess time to look into one of them.sorry for long bad letter but im tired people look an do things to me cause it seems im weak being double...
