My friend and I stumbled upon this bar while walking back to our hotel. Not knowing anything we walked in and we're met by the bartender, Steph. She was extremely welcoming and attentive.

Our plan was to just watch a Sunday night football game but as the night unfolded we found ourselves pulled into the local scene. Simple beers turned into a game of darts and then a friendly international game of beer pong (won by Canadians).

This is the first Neighborhood Family Run Tavern we have been to in years. It was clean, beer was cold, some day's they BBQ out back and put this unbelievable food on the bar at no charge. They are not a restaurant, but feel free to make a donation. Mirella really loves making sure everyone enjoy themselves We found the Main street Tavern by accident. If you are in Kansas City and love nostalgia this is a must stop. For sports fans plenty of Flat screens to enjoy your Chief's or Royals. Being from Saint Louis we have adopted the Chiefs.
