I had been craving the cod from Culver's and couldn't wait for the opportunity to go, well much less delight and more fright is how I could explain the fish. Im not really sure I'll ever crave Culver's food again and if so it will be awhile. Not really fair last year I had a great experience at the Parkville Culvers, and the Culver's on North Oak has the best i mean the Best walleye sandwich. This experience started with a mix up on the order which can happen no big deal, he thought an extra fry and an extra onion ring were on the order, i explained no just 2 meals, 1 meal I asked for onion rings instead of fries and he assured me it was fixed on the ticket. The window was quite crowded with younger workers so maybe he was having a hard time hearing or he may have been in training im not mad with him but I am not happy when I was charged for a fry and an onion ring which were already included in the dinner. The real problem was the dinners! The fish, fries and onion rings were so drenched in grease we didn't eat it. I tried taking paper towels and dabbing the grease but it was just to much. So I tried taking the breading off and it was soaked in to the fish. So after paying $49.89 which includes an extra fry and onion ring that i didnt order and didn't recieve. I was told the mix up was fixed. We actually ate the coleslaw which was the only thing edible. I did take a couple pictures. I really wanted to go back but it was last Friday night 3/15/25 at 8:47 pm and it was snowing like crazy. I did try to call and no answer. I also tried reaching out to them on the website but it kept starting me over. At this point a hefty sum of $ for Cole slaw and 2 small strawberry shakes and time invested i was done. I still have the receipt and pictures. If Culvers management for this location wants to reach out to me great otherwise I'll continue to steer people away from that location until they get...
Read moreI was pulling into the Culver's parking lot and this lady was walking by with a light jacket on. She noticed me pulling in and tapped on the window. I figured, 'maybe she needs help?' and rolled it down.
Immediately she put a pink plastic gift bag down on my passenger seat and said, "I just gave one of these to everyone in the restaurant." She started talking about all the makeup in the bag and the awards her company had won and whatever (note: she never actually mentioned her company's name soo). I nodded along, not sure what was happening.
Finally she said, "...and this is normally $60 online, but it's going to be $20 today, and everything else in the bag is free."
I was trying to think of a way to say no politely, so I said, "I don't have any money."
She said, "Oh, that's okay, I take cash or card."
I repeated, "I don't have any money."
Now, this was obviously an absolute lie, because I had literally just pulled into a Culver's by myself, and there is no reason to do that unless you are about to walk into that Culver's and buy some food. I have no idea what she must have thought, but for some reason, she just accepted this. The smile dropped off her face, she picked up her pink gift bag, and she walked away toward the Sprout's.
5/5 because I like the food here, but this experience was weird and unsettling. Maybe managers could do more to keep...
Read moreThe only thing good about my experience was the customers around me. When in through the drive-thru and received poor quality food. Went inside the store and told them how I felt about it, had my order remade and all they did was throw it back on the grill for a little bit because I complain that the cheese wasn't melted. They took offense to me making comments that didn't have any profanity I was just upset. I will admit that I called the store even more upset, and use the little bit of profanity when I was called a liar over the phone. Very poor quality food and I've never had this type of experience at any Culver's that I have been to. Culver's just lost their lifelong customer today. I didn't even receive coupons for my messed up orders. The manager in the kitchen, which I believe to be the general manager should not be a cook in my opinion. Never have I seen a cook remake a patty three times and it still be poor quality. I used to love Culver's but now I don't. And to top it all off after my second reorder wasn't up to par I went inside the store to reorder my whole order and I paid for it and they let me. Just think it's a bit ridiculous that I have to order something three times and for it still not to...
